Question: zakat on car
i have a small car provided by my office for official and personal use , it is owned by the company in which i work. this car is not fullfilling my domestic needs therefore i have bought my own car for my family,s needs . my question is that whether i have to pay zakat on my own personnel car or not?

With the exception of gold and silver Zakat is not compulsory on any other fixed assets. As such Zakat will not be given on a car. والله اعلم
