Question: husband wants a 2nd wife
assalamu alaikum
my husband wants a 2nd wife but does that mean going in chat rooms and talking to girls is allowed?when am not there 2.Is it permissible to find a wife this way?Am i allowed 2 have a say in this?

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Your husband is not permitted to look for a 2nd wife employing means like Chat protocols and immodest communication with girls. If he wishes to look for a second wife, he must do so using Halaal means.

We suggest that he consults a local Scholar about the second marriage to ensure that he knows what is entailed in this respect.
