Question: attending marriage cermonies
asalaamu alikum wrwb,
can i attend a wedding where men and women are both present, it is normally women only hall but men can come in and out to call thier women. also some men maybe present helping serving food, can a sister attend such a ceremony?
what happens if she is asked to help at the wedding, is she allowed if other men maybe present in the hall?

Intermingling of sexes is an act of sin and totally against Shariah. Therefore, one should avoid such places.
