| Question: congregrate with Muslims who deny parts of the Qur'an | |
| 25 November, 2004
The Mufti, Salaams, In our country there is a group of Muslims who say: 1 Hazrat Eesa (as) is not coming back 2 That Sura 19 of Al Qur?an should be removed 3 Hadith was for ?back then? and not for today 4 The women need not cover their aura 5 Individuals could interpret the Qur?an for themselves. This group also has a live band for Eid, nikah and other celebrations. Is it permissible to continue associating with these Muslims for Eid and other occasions to ?keep the unity of the Deen?? Sincerely, Ashmead M. Ali Secretary Islamic Center of Bermuda. ________________________________________ Registered under the Charities Act OF Bermuda under AS ?Al Markaz Al Islami? # 593. |
