Question: Muslim doctor assisting a non-married couple in conceiving a baby through IVF?
As a Muslim doctor working in the UK, I would like to specialize in reproductive medicine. Would it be considered haram for me to assist a non-married couple in conceiving a baby through IVF? Should I inquire about the marital status of the couples who come into our clinic?

It will not be permissible as you will be assisting in the Haram I.e. relationships outside marriage and cause of spreading of illegitimate children. However, you can assist those who are married couples.
