Baby Girl Naming Maria & Maryam

Assalamu Alaik Sheikh! Alhamdulillah I am Blessed with a beautiful daughter recently. I have another Daughter and her name is Maria. Can I keep my newborn girl name Mariyam as we like the name due to its importance in the Holy quran? Do Maria and Mariyam do have the same meaning? I really appreciate your advise in this regard. Jazakumullahu khairan

Both names are good. ‘Maria’ was one of the wife’s of Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وسلم ) it means, white or radiant. ‘Maryam’ was the mother of Isa (عليه السلام) it means, female servant.
