Need more clarification with regards to this: https://www.muftisays.com/qa/marriage-issues/8552-only-saying-divor/ Even if the incomplete word "divo"/"divor" was rapidly uttered several times, with intention, no divorce would happen? JazakAllah for your guidance.


بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الجواب حامداومصليا

If a letter is omitted from the word divorce whether in Arabic or in another language it would not happen even if you intend divorce.

وإن حذف اللام فقط فقال أنت طاق لا يقع وإن نوى
(الفتاوي الهندية ١/٣٥٧،باب إيقاع الطلاق)
