Physical retraction of a Talaaq-e-Rajaai'

Assalamoalaikum Warhamatullahi Wabarakaatuh

Dear respected ulama,

I would like to know what extent of physical interaction will effect rajaai'. For example, would holding the wife's hand or touching her face mean that he has taken her back?

When the husband pronounces Talaq once or at the most twice. Before the period of Iddah expires, Raj'ah (return) in the following ways may be performed:

Raj'ah done verbally i.e. 'I take you back' etc, or physically i.e. Kissing, sexual intercourse, touching with lust etc. (Quduri Pg. 230)



Thus, touching the wife with lust will validate the Raj'ah.
