Online Teach and Travelling Women

Assalam o alaikum wa rahmatullah e wabarakatuhu! I want to ask two questions First one is that Is is permissible in Islam to teach a 50 years female for a 22 years Male Teacher Online Quran through Skype ,Kindly guide with your helpful knowledge,I will be thankful to you,If permissible then Is there any necessary terms for this? And Second question is that Is is permissible for a women to travel alone or without Mehram If someone don,t have any Muslim Mehram?Hope You understand my question,

الجواب حامداومصليا

It will not be permissible to teach a non-Mahram woman due to Fitna (temptation).

Allah Ta'ālā says:

يَا نِسَاء النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِّنَ النِّسَاء إِنِ اتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ (الأحزاب ٣٣:٣٢)

“O wives of the Prophet! You are not like other women, if you are God-fearing. So, do not be tender in (your) speech. Lest in whose heart is disease should be moved with desire.” (Surah Al-Ahzab 33: 32)

It will not be permissible for a woman to travel alone. A Mahram must accompany her. If however, she has no Mahram and Hajj became compulsory upon her then she can make Wasiya (will) for someone to do the Hajj on her behalf. If this is for other reason then she is not allowed to embark on a travel for more than 48 miles alone.

ما رواه البخاري (1729) ومسلم (2391) عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( لا تُسَافِرْ الْمَرْأَةُ إِلا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ ، وَلا يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا رَجُلٌ إِلا وَمَعَهَا مَحْرَمٌ . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ فِي جَيْشِ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَامْرَأَتِي تُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ . فَقَالَ : اخْرُجْ مَعَهَا ) .

Ibn ‘Abbaas (رضي الله تعالي عنهما) who said: The Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said: “No woman should travel except with a Mahram, and no man should enter upon her unless a Mahram of hers is present.” A man said: “O Messenger of Allaah, I want to go out with such and such an army and my wife wants to go for Hajj.” He said: “Go out (for Hajj) with her.”
