After completing the Umrah rituals (Tawaf and Sai), one must trim or shave their head in order to come out from their Ihram. Shaving is more virtuous than trimming.

والحلق أفضل من التقصير لأن الحلق أكمل في قضاء التفث وهوالمقصود فأشبه الاغتسال مع الوضوء

(اللباب في شرح الكتاب,كتاب الحج,ج.2 ص.433)
