Assalamu alaykum

If the wife has enough money to go for hajj, however, her husband doesn't, does hajj become obligatory on them both? one of them? or none of them? The wife has the means to pay for her husband too if she wants.

Bismillah

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah's guidance)

1) It is only Fardh upon a woman to fulfil Hajj if she has sufficient wealth and a husband,
or any other Mahram relative to accompany her. if she does not have a husband or any Mahram relative to accompany her then it is not permissible for her to go for Hajj.

Even if, till her death no Mahram is available, she cannot go for Hajj, rather it becomes Fardh upon her to make Wasiyyat of a Hajj-e-Badal. (Ahsanul Fataawa part 4 pg.532)

If she has the means to pay for her husband (or a Mahram) then she is obliged to pay for his expenses too. If she does not possess the means of paying his expenses, then Hajj will not be necessary on her. (Radd al-Muhtar 2:145)

It should be remembered that there is a sin in delaying Hajj, it is prohibitively disliked to delay it once it becomes necessary upon a person. However, according to the stronger position if the person performs the Hajj prior to dying the sin is lifted (Radd al-Muhtar2:140)

Therefore, continuously encourage your husband or any other Mahram to accompany you and make abundant Du'aa to Allah Ta'ala.

And Only Allah Ta'ala Knows Best.
