Assalamu Alaykum,

The new smarties do not have artificial colours as part of its ingredient. Is it now halal?

I would translate "artificial" as synthetc (man-made), so the product can have animal or vegetable ingredients hence it cannot mean that it is Halaal, on
the basis of this information.
