Asslamo Allaikum,

I went to a brothers house last week and he was watching Football on TV so I just asked about his Sky Package and he said that he just have Sports and pays £££ so I said isn't it cheaper to get a chipped box and he said

"Thats Haram upon Haram" and said I know that I shouldn't be watching Football but to get the Box chipped is even bigger Haram and its like "Stealing Drugs to use Drugs".

Is that reasonable analogy and situation or just non-nense?

Lol. I agree with him and personally I think it's a reasonable analogy.

It also confirms that 2 wrongs don't make a right.

Just like when someone said to one of my teachers that we have a TV at home anyway so what's the difference in going cinema. The teacher said that at home you're watching alone confined to family whereas with cinema you're openly and without guilt doing the act. One one the qualities of the Mujahiroon

It's what they could call Halaam! (a combo of Halal and haraam)

They know its Haram yet justify it by being ok. Like most of us. Astagfirullah, guilty

We all do halaam of some kind.

Your right, but when we cant stop or control a bad habit, we need to try and restrict its exposure to other as much as possible. Least amount of witnesses as possible. ;)
