Looking at the list above, if there any volunteers who don't mind improving the subject lines for questions, please let me know. For example, there's 3 questions simply entitled "Ramadan", "Ramadhaan" and "Ramdan" which tells you nothing about the question. Jazakumullah

Mashaallah it is very good to group all the question and answers together. I was thinking maybe a couple of other questions that could be put up on the question and answers section which others may find helpful are 1) Fasting while breastfeeding a child, is it allowed for a woman to breastfeed and is she allowed to not fast if she is breastfeeding and 2) The use of flavoured miswak such as mint and lemon during fasting. May Allah reward all those that are involved in answering the questions as it is a great piece of work that the Mufti sahebs have done and those connected to the running of this website. Aameen.

Ive. Always had a problem with this topic. Let me explain.

Once I asked a mufti question 35, and he answered the same and I agreed. Then I asked him question 11 and he answered the same but I disagreed.

I don't get it because it's a contradiction in my opinion.because the toothpaste is also flavoured and it enters the mouth. In my view (uneducated one) they are both equal, in fact if it was allowed then it should be the other way round. Allahu alum.

I have heard people provide evidence for using toothpaste and the only daleel they give is that the prophet used the miswak. But for their information, I told them that I have come to learn that these chemical type products were also available in the prophets time too but he didn't use them.

Assalamu Alaykum,

I have now added the feature to update subject lines on the Q&A section for those are interested. Please send me a PM and I'll add you to the editors.

Reminder: This feature was suggested above. So while you are browsing a question, you may see a subject line that is of no help whatsoever such as "PLZ HELP!!!!!!!" or "Ramadhan" - a better subject line is something like "Help needed with family earning Haraam" or "Fasting upto Ishaa" instead of "Ramadhan"

This isn't something that you need to take time out for but if you read the Q&A often, it would be a good idea to add yourself regardless.

Jazakumullah
