Masjid-e-Quba would like to hear from you!

The Jumu’ah / Friday talk before the main sermon is a serious responsibility and a regular opportunity for the Imam to address the local community on issues effecting our day-to-day lives. The Masjid strives to ensure the messages of speeches are relevant and caters for the modern needs of the local community.

Mufti Abdur Rahman requests your invaluable input and feedback in any of the following areas:

• Topic Suggestions
• Personal stories you feel the Imam could share with the congregation to help inspire the community
• Constructive positive or negative feedback
• Feedback on the delivery of the message or suggestions on how to enhance it
• Any other general comments on not only the Jumu’ah speeches but any other talks and events

I agree 100%. But you will find people who will use this against the Masjid and its users and create problems and accusations of Biddah.

First and foremost, I think, as the location of this Masjid, it dictates the importance of doing these pre Khutbah talks and that it is not Biddah as many of the locals will be told that it is. I have heard it my self.
