May Allah (swt) except all their duas and worship and make their umrah a means of their guidance and that of many others.

Here is the video of that meeting www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXF998nioag&feature=related Download link for pdf: - www.croydonmosque.com/?page=articles&view=moon - LECTURE ON Mufti Farid Patel, Mufti Sajid Patel and Shaykh Khalifa Imaam of London Central Mosque & Islamic Cultural Centre 146 Park Road. Ramadaan Subah Sadik Timetable meeting at Regent's Park Mosque, London on 5 June 2012 (3rd Meeting) Important Announcement as regards to Unified Salah times in London by the Wifaq ul Ulama Upon the invitation of the London Muslim Forum three meetings were held at the Regents Park Mosque (ICCUK) with an agenda to unify the Mosques of London on CORRECT Salah times. Forty Six Mosques were represented at the meeting yesterday (5th of June 2012). With the grace of Almighty Allah we are pleased to announce that representatives of Forty Four Mosques have unanimously agreed that they will adopt the centuries old 18 degrees timetable. This is a timetable adopted by the majority of Muslim Countries throughout the World, and agreed upon by the majority of the Scholars throughout the world. In fact 99% of the Scholars of the Indian subcontinent are unanimous on the point that the time of Isha and Fajr begins when the Sun is 18 degree below the horizon. One of the two Mosques that abstained was the Regents Park Mosque as they did not have their director Dr Dubyaan present. The Imam of the other Mosque was in agreement but he had to consult his committee before making a final decision. May we also take this opportunity to inform the public that observations (Mushahadah) have been carried out throughout the world including the UK to verify the Subh Sadiq (True Dawn) times in this centuries old 18 degrees timetable and they have been found to be correct in all locations. We appeal to All Muslims to adopt the correct time table for Salah and Suhoor times so that they do not spoil their fasts or Salah.

salam who shud u follow when going umrah We all follow the prophet, pbuh. But because there are differences of opinions you follow your school of thought. Let's not turn this topic into something else.

Fajar Time according two time tables where the distance is a 5 minute walk. The earlier one is at 18 degrees. Unknown system Sehri 1 / Sunrise Sehri 2 / Sunrise Difference in time 1.04 / 5.03 3.17 / 5.08 2 hours 13 min 1.12 / 5.04 3.18 / 5.09 2 hours 6 min 1.31 / 5.05 3.19 / 5.10 1 hour 48 min 1.42 / 5.07 3.21 / 5.12 1 hour 19 min 1.50 / 5.08 3.24 / 5.13 1 hour 34 min 1.56 / 5.09 3.26 / 5.15 1 hour 30 min And as you get towards the end of the month of Ramadhan the gap becomes lesser and lesser 3.22 / 5.42 4.07 / 5.47 Less than an hour 3.25 / 5.43 4.08 / 5.48 Less than an hour 3.28 / 5.45 4.11 / 5.50 Less than an hour 3.31 / 5.46 4.12 / 5.51 Less than 45 min
I'm very confused, however, I'd rather stay on the safer side and follow 18 degrees. Any explanation for the decrease in time difference.
Jazakallahu Khair.
