Yes, this particular Karamat of his is well-known amongst the Tableeghis. I have heard of other incidents too, however, the elders of Tableegh have always instructed the Tableeghis to focus more on the important task of introducing Allah to humanity rather than feats of Karamat.

Haji sahab was truly at a level of emaan that is hard to comprehend for the commoners. So is his constant state of worry and anxiousness for the Ummat. Maulana Fahim reports how once Haji sahab called him to his room at 3:00 in the morning and asked him in desperation if there was some way to ensure that no one went ended up in jahannum and everyone achieved jannah.
How do you even replace someone like this? ;(

Direct Knowledge: Episode 2

A doctor personally told me this story. He came to America to specialise in internal medicine and Allah Ta’ala involved him with the work of Tableegh.

After a few years he went back to Lahore and it was around the time of Ijtema so he asked his brother-in-law (not practising) to come to the Raiwind Ijtema. His brother-in-law had no respect or liking for Ulama/religious people so did not want to attend but grudgingly decided to come along.

Doctor Saheb set up a special meeting with Haji Abdul-Wahab (RA) and told him that his brother-in-law is Anti-religious people so the conversation has to be carefully constructed. Haji Abdul-Wahab (RA) did not give much of a response which scared Doctor Saheb about the outcome.

His brother-in-law was also not keen on this meeting and had a hot temper.

Professionally, his brother-in-law was the Chief Engineer at Pakistan Railway development for diesel engines.

This is what happened at the meeting…

Haji Abdul-Wahab Saheb (RA): So what do you do, brother?

Engineer: I am the Chief Engineer at Pakistan Railways for the development of diesel engines!

Haji Abdul-Wahab Saheb (RA): Oh! You guys are useless and have been wasting our time?

Engineer: (Astonished)! Why???

Haji Abdul-Wahab Saheb (RA): Pakistan and India both got independence at the same time in 1947 and look at India’s advancement in diesel engines, what have you done?

Engineer: (Embarrassed)! Well…You have to look at their size of the market and resources…

Haji Abdul-Wahab Saheb (RA): Excuses! Excuses! What are the problems tell me so we can discuss the technical aspects of the issues?

Engineer: (Embarrassed)! Well…

Then there was a long discussion about R & D on diesel engine development and nothing was discussed about Tableegh at all.

On the way back, the brother-in-law got angry for not introducing such “Ulama” with foresight, wisdom, technical and management skills sooner and was Sorry that he had not been able to spend more time with Haji Abdul-Wahab (RA) to gain more insight into Diesel Engine development!

The Doctor decided to interject and point out that Haji Abdul-Wahab (RA) was not “Ulama” to which he was chastised with a response, “He is one of the greatest Ulama of Pakistan! What are you talking about? He is the pride of Pakistan and this country needs more Ulama like him” :lol

Brother-in-law got involved in Tableegh and his life was changed.

All the great saints are passing away one by one. This is an indication that the time is near. When a time comes that the ummah is becoming orphan and great ulema and aulia are passing away, then Allah out of his mercy sends a mujaddid to deal with the fitan and unite the ummah again. We must remain steadfast on the true deen, no matter what. We mustn't doubt a bit on traditional Islam. No amount of fake logic and no amount of satanic trickery must succeed in fooling us into believing anything against the deen of Allah. May Allah help us and protect us.

@fod1083

Haji Sahib رحمة الله عليه at times would even slap the person who would feel sleepy in-front of him. Did not believed until saw it happen in a Bayan, he did not do it once but twice lol...his khadim was sitting behind the wheelchair trying to control his laugh.

Al hamdulillah we still have Mashaykh in Raiwind like Hazrat Aqdas Maulana Nazarur Rahman Sahib (db), Hazrat Aqdas Maulana Ihsan ul Haq Sahib (db), Hazrat Aqdas Maulana Abdur Rahman Sahib (db) etc etc

Once a friend was dropping Hazrat Maulana Nazarur Rahman Sahib (db) to a Masjid for Jamaat, in that locality there were other Masajids. Hazrat (db) pointed at a masjid and said 'That is the Masjid where we are going' - He was shocked, since this was in foreign country and how could he even know when he was not even informed anything about the location? - He just walks in the Masjid alone, and starts his nafil prayers and finishes juz upon juz even at such an old age.

The only problem is us, we were supposed to learn from their lives and the environment in the Markaz. And when we compare with ours, it seems we are missing a lot. These people gave their youths in doing struggles...

These are from a memoirs i have by this saintly person, who wrote about early days of tableegh and was a sathi of haji saab. Upon hearing the demise of haji saab i was just going through these pages to remember him and haji saab.

These memoirs are private so you wont be able to find them anywhere. I will keep the name of the writer private too, since he is not a well known personality .JazakAllah khayr.
