@Abdur Rahman ibn Awf :

I've never heard his bayan, so no question arise to defend him.

Bottomline is that mud-slinging even based on truth by laypeople isn't praiseworthy. If you think otherwise, then, who can stop...

So warning people against an individual who might represent a threat to their deen, imaan and honour, is mudslinging...So what you saying in cases like this we sweep things under the carpet and allow the individual to carry on with their activities with many more victims?

If your Sister, daughter, mother, or wife was targeted you would not talk like this! But since it is someone else's Sister, daughter, mother, or wife your mind is making excusing while the honour and dignity of others is at stake.

As I said before let all those defending Peer Zulfiqar stand in front of Allah Ta’ala and answer for it.

Our recourse is with Allah and it is our duty to warn others and to help them protect their Eemaan, their honour and dignity.

There is ZERO DOUBT in this matter.

We are dealing with the second type of people. Did you see what Imam Malik has to say about such people? Did you see the Hadith and punishment? Did you understand what Hasan al-Basri stated?

When the peer in the fatwa was questioned/approached, did he stop or continue?

Apologies for the late response on these things you touched upon. We might not be honoured, but definitely ordered to do so
Surah Nisa Verse 135

O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

‘Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one.’

People asked, ‘O Allah’s Messenger! It is alright to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?’

The Prophet said, ‘By preventing him from oppressing others.’ (Narrated in Sahih Bukhari)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “A man is only upon the religion of his close friends. So let one of you look carefully at whom he takes as an intimate friend.” [Ahmad, Hakim]. We shouldn’t maintain intimate company with people that are flagrantly sinful not because we are exceptionally pious and above them rather because of the inherent imitation the comes with close friendship.

As-salamu alaikum

Dr Hussain Sattar STILL has bayah with his Shaykh. This is another deception; when you tell people you have distanced yourself but still have bayah and still visit the shaykh in umrah / hajj trips. Ask him directly this question "have you revoked your bayah? "

I have nothing personal against anyone but people should know the facts because there may be people who might potentially associate with an individual only to realise the real situation and truth. His close people and old friends have not been able to convince him to break bayah. If he had broken his bayah then why have his old students for ten years left him? Like Shaykh Kamaluddin, Dr Hussain more than clearly knows the evidence.

I dont know the guy personally, I have only listened to his lectures over the years.... My opinion about him breaking Bayaah is based on the fact that all previous references to his connection with Shaykh Zulfiqar and being a student and Khilafaah have been removed every single lecture that mentioned Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed has been removed.

السلام عليكم

Thought i would translate some more of questions posed by the sisters in the fatwa.. simply shocking..

P.5

Question 2)" Does by any Shari’i interpretation, is it acceptable to meet the Shaikh in seclusion and to meet him alone in his bedroom, even though his wife rests in a separate room? "

P.2

6) “ Making some girls remove Niqab, and the explanation given was that you are to be moved ahead in Deen, so the effect of evil eye or Sihr (if any) has to to be seen upon you..”

7)" one girl was ordered to remove the Niqab and show her face..(and said) - have you ever witnessed Allah "

P.3

9) “ if some girl disclosed a sin like Zina then compelling her that everything should be revealed to the Peer, since a sin like Zina cannot be forgiven. Unless the Peer makes special duas. That it gets forgiven when he does Istighfar. Thereafter repeatedly summoning her to meet in private & in seclusion that he is giving Tawajjuh. And giving her such kind of love which she received from the ghair mahram before”

P.6

Question 9) “For the sake of acquiring any specific Nisbat or Noor, is it permissible for a Shaikh to embrace a Ghair- Mahram woman?”
“For the purpose of warding away any sin or to gain any special state of Fana Fi Shaikh , is it permissible to embrace a Ghair Mahram female Mureed, even though if the Peer is old?”

Question 10) "it is said to be mentioned in books of Tasawwuf that if one sees the Peer lying in bed with someone, then it is to be considered akin to having an illusion. So if someone really sees or hears about such incidents about one's shaikh, then is it also to be construed as an illusion? "

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى give him Taufeeq to do Taubah.. Ameen.

wa Assalam..

The following talk:
Seeking and Following Advice
Sacredlearning. org/ general-talks/

Around 13 minutes 25 he mentions his Shaykh''s name. There are others with still a mention or two. They are well aware of these talks but will not take them down.

I agree with what Dr76 had to say. If it was their own daughter, sister etc who was abused, they would distance themselves without giving ridiculous qiyas.

In Chicago there was the case of another very big scholar who was a proven abuser - it was in the news. Even then people knew but we're quite for years and the abuse went on. Some people actually praised him publicly in talks even knowing the facts. Some sat quietly like moose. There are MEN and there are men. Mufti Taqi is from the MEN along with Mufti Rafi and Mufti Abdul Manan.

Whether the Bayaah has been revoked or not...I personally could not take anyone originating from this group seriously, 20 plus years and you dont see anything.

I was told he was corrupt only after a few months of hearing his name and mentioning it to a Shaykh that was in 2007...! These guys did not notice for decades.

Whatsmore UK is the hotspot for visiting shaykhs, yet he hardly ever visited the uk the ulemah seemed wary of him did not offer as warm a welcome as other places....even though other khulafah of shaykh Ghulam Habib رحمة الله عليه visited the uk often... So there is no way these guys did not hear something , his khulfah who visited the uk seemed to have a tough time finding mosques to host them one of them was putting it down to jealousy from local ulemah and shaykh rather then the fact that perhaps they considered peer sahib dodgy..

if by other Scholar you mean Abdullah Saleem he has already been discussed in the following thread the same guys who praised Shaykh Zulfiqar also regularly praised him in their lectures..... www.muftisays.com/forums/27-sharing-portal/9977-chicago-m...

Because, akhi, it takes monumental courage to lodge a police complain. To ask for a Fatwa is an easier option.
