I was sent out to a Job at the Palestinian R.... Centre for an emergency callout. We were told that the whole network was down and they needed urgent assistant.
It was very funny, because when I walked in, I greeted everyone with Salaam then proceeded to the room where the system was. I went alone because I knew the setup (I worked on the installation before). Then I came back and said, "Akhi, where is the wall". They laughed and said I must of gone into another room. So I was escorted there and then I was told
this is the room. I confirmed and said, "Yes, but where is the wall, there was a wall here and all the equipment was on that wall." Look of shock from the Palestinian brother. We managed to find the builders and ask them what they did with the wall. (silly q's). They took us into another room and said "We're waiting for a skip".
In the end, it worked out very well for them as we installed a brand new system on a fixed wall in another office.
Apparently the builders were told to RIP every thing out. So they did. They even ripped out their phone system as well as the links to about 10 more offices.
This what I had found.
