does anyone know why in Masjid quba, Masjid Haram and other Masjids have large pulpits with doors instead of three steps

Many imams have left the stick out from the khutbah, many imams have started to do the Khutbah in other languages, many imams do the Khutbah before dhohar time starts, many mosques have introduced tv's in the Masjids so the others can see the imam.

Some things in Islam are allowed, some are not. like the minarets, these weren't around in the time of the prophet, but this is a good innovation. Etc etc

Soon some one will plant a tree and climb on that, and say the Prophet did it too.
