(Mufti) Abu-Bakr Karolia (Teacher):
Mufti Abubakr was born in England, U.K. He began his studies in traditional Islamic Theology at Darul Uloom Al-Arabiyah Al-Islamiyah, Bury. He completed his final year in Darul Uloom London. He is a Mureed of Hadhrat Sheikul Hadith Maulana Yusuf Motala Sahib.
After graduation he traveled to India to further his knowledge and he studied Ifta for one year (a specialist course which delves deeper into Islamic Scared Law and jurisprudence) at the renowned Ashraful Uloom Rashidi madrasah, which is situated in the village of Gangoh, U.P. Whilst here he translated a Urdu Kitab of his teacher Mufti Saifullah Sahib to english. the kitab is titled, "The Way to Practice in Modern Conditions". After graduation from Ifta and earning the right to issue Fatawa he traveled back to England.
Due to Mufti Abubakr's passion and love for the Sciences, he inaugurated into a BSc (Hons) Degree to study Chemistry, Pharmaceutical and Forensic Sciences. As well as a Mufti and Alim of Deen he is a qualified man of the Sciences.
Mufti Abubakr also likes to go by the name Abu-Sharaheel. As he has a son from a failed marriage, and Mufti Sahib has requested all members to make dua that he can be reunited with his son one day. He is happily remarried and resides with his wife in the town of Batley, U.K.
Mufti Abubakr currently teaches Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Maths to children, teenagers and young adults. He also teaches Arabic on weekends and maktab to children during the evenings on weekdays.
Teacher will use the Arabic text of Al Fiqh Al Muyassar by Sheikh Shafeequr Rahman Nadwi.
Why Al Fiqh Al Muyassar?
Because this is a Text specifically written for students during their Journey to gaining Islamic Knowledge. We want our students to get used to the language & terminologies since it is likely that this will be the first text they will study after gaining sufficiency in the Arabic language.
