Where did I claim that he studied under Shaykh Raghib Al-Tabbakh in the whole thread?
Maybe the misunderstanding came from here:
A Master of Hadeeth by the name of Shaykh Raghib Al-Tabbakh (RA) vistied the library around 1951 and he was introduced to a young Al-Albani when he gave him Ijazah in Hadeeth Musalsal.

The Ijazas of Hadeeth Musalsal are given for Barakah by many Mashaykh and this Hadeeth is mentioned by Shaykh Al-Albani (RA) in his own book that Shaykh Raghib Al-Tabbakh (RA) gave me Ijazah in it. The hadeeth is as follows:

Mu'adh reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, took him by the hand and said, "O Mu'adh! By Allah, I love you.and I advise you not to fail to say after every prayer, 'O Allah, help me to remember You and thank You and worship You well." [Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i]

This is a general Ijazah and I also have one of these so I hope that Khala Ummi Talib also accepts me as a Scholar of Hadeeth! :- )

He may not have studied under him, but it clearly states that he was given Ijazah! Maybe a misunderstanding from me too?

Shaikh al albani also refuted ibn taymiah on his belief that the universe is co- eternal with allah ta aala.

That view of his is not acceptable. On the contrary it is rejected by this Hadith. Many a time we (Ibn Taimiyyah's followers) yearned that Ibn Taimiyyah had not dabbled in this domain (of philosophy) because discussion therein resembles philosophy and Ilmul Kalaam (which Salafis abhor)." (Saheeh of Al-Baani, Vol.1, page 208)
Again in his Commentary of Aqeedatut Tahaawi, Al-Baani says: "Verily, the Ulama are unanimous that there was a first creation. Those who maintain that temporal things had no beginning are in conflict with this Consensus (Ijma') since they explicitly claim that every creation was preceded by a creation ad infinitum as Ibn Taimiyyah has expressly said in some of his kutub." (Page 35)

My intention was to show the works of Salafi Ulamah refuting Shaykh Al-Albani (RA) and not Deobandi or Non-Salafi Ulamah and also not delve into other matters.

Khayr, whatever happens is the best.

I have a question and I dont know if it falls exactly under this thread or maybe there is a better thread for it:

There are many questions about the teachers of Shaikh Albani رضي الله عنه. Can anyone give his authentic sand (chain of teachers)?

Jazakallah.

Strange fact is that many knowledgeable people don't consider it an outrage to try reinventing the wheel and consequently messing everything up. May Allaah Ta'ala protect Ummah from amateur Fitnah-mongers.

iirc Mufti Husain Kadodia explained that it's not essential for a muhaddith to have sanad in this era. So Shaykh Albani was a Muhaddith since he was very learned in ahadeeth. I tried googling to find that post on SF but I can't.

2. Some Ulama have regarded him to be deviated. The best is silence.
