So do we Ijazahs with chains going to "other then Allah" by any chance?

A bit dramatic this whole Ijazah business isn't it?

So true brother.

I posted it as an inspiration for the youngsters who are doing Hifz or intend on doing it.

So many people only consider ijazah coming in the form of narrating Hadith which means they would then need to become a scholar of some sort. But Hifz, Alhumdulillah, although very obvious, it isn't looked at it like that by the masses, which is really sad to see.

As Muslim's, we have this unique thing of chain of narrations which even the Jew's and Christian's can't claim they have back to their own prophets, but the Muslim's have this chain from the prophet back to the likes of Ebrahim (as) Musa (as) and so on, prophets that he spoke to on his night journey.

A donkey like me has multiple Ijazahs and that's all you need to know about the system.

Seek knowledge for the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.

It should send shivers down everyone's spine that if a system allow person like me to have Ijazahs then there is something seriously wrong.

I am not a Sufi so I am not making this statement out of humility, it’s a fact!

To be honest, I wasn't going to post the tweet because of who it came from. I was going to post just the picture, reason for that was to keep the topic on the intention of inspiration and to start a conversation on the tweeter and his claims of other questionable ijazah's from reputable scholars.

With that logic my friend, what's the point of knowledge when iblees is the most knowledgeable?

It's the intention and for the sake of the Almighty!

If a locksmith uses his skills to help people, Alhumdulillah. If a locksmith abuses his knowledge then it his lost, not the system :)

I am saying that knowledge should be acquired for the sake of Allah Ta’ala and not for the sake of collecting and floundering Ijazahs.
