From what I hear munjate maqbul was compiled from that book, so I guess separate books.

I could be wrong though

According to this (link), Munajat-e-Maqbool is a translation of "Qurubat..." into Urdu, which was originally written by Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (rahmatullaahi `alayh), probably in Arabic.

If you can read Urdu, here (link) is Munajat-e-Maqbool.

Otherwise, in English, it is here (link). I highly recommend this website "islamicbookslibrary" and "nmusba" (google it).

السلام عليكم

I have an open-ended request for any book in Urdu which is geared towards beginners of the language. I have read that Qisasu-n Nabiyyeen was partly written for children and beginners of Arabic. I think I'm looking for something similar in Urdu which has Deeni benefit but is still easy to read for someone with less-than-great vocabulary and is also beneficial for practice of the language.

جزاكم الله خيرا
