Who would have known how simple life really becomes after divorcing the second wife.

We cant treat both wife's equally so 1 should suffice. And since the divorce, life has changed for the better, Alhumdulillah.

Now I spend more time with my wife and kids than I did with my "so-called" second wife. To my surprise (well I shouldn't be) life feels so much more nicer and relaxing. Its like time has so much Barakah in it all of a sudden, Alhumdulillah.

How did I do it?

I switched off my emails from syncing the moment I get home and only check it if and when its appropriate. I put my phone away from the moment I walk into the house. I've been doing this for just over a week as an experiment, and Alhumdulillah, the divorce from the mobile has worked wonders, SubhanAllah.

Get Barakah in your time too, stay "disconnected" not connected, get off line, put the phone away, put the laptop away, put the tablet away, put the computer away. Just get rid of all your toys and gadgets and spend that time with your family and appreciate what Allah has given you.

I appreciate others have also posted things related to this, but I thought I'd do it too but in my own words and experience.

So if you see me less around (I'm trying) then its because I'm either busy with work or I'm having a good time with my first family (second family being MuftiSays)

Yes abu Mohammed, we here at ms have also noticed your absence. Well you make the most of your first family....and don't forget to drop in on your second family from time to time, especially for Authorizing
:-)

ماشاء الله good post, it is true we must always put our priorities first, before everything else....we will be questioned for not fulfilling the rights of our creaator and those who have a right over us, so you've made a wise choice الحمد لله

Don't worry about that. Authorizing is always gonna be there. I constantly keep an eye out for these things.

Don't worry, I'm watching your back.

Lol! Im sure this talaaq was one talaaq that pleased ALLAH. Very good move, everyone should do the same.

I HATE talking to a mobile addicted person. Reminds me of zombie. This is how you sound when you're stuck in your mobile:

Sane person: Whats the time?
Mobile person: Huh? *looks up, then looks back at the phone*
Sane person: What is the time?
Mobile person: Yaah........ what you sayying.......... ?
Sane person: WHAT IS THE TIME? TIME??
Mobile person: Ummm. Ohhh. TIME! *looks at the phone* errrm the tttiiiiime eeeezz....?
Sane person: Yeah, WHAT?
Mobile person: Itttsss errr..... lemme seeee......... *types away*
Sane person: WHAT????
Mobile person: Just a sec..... *looks as if hes being told to climb mount everest* its 4 o'clock. *looks back at his phone*

The sane person keeps on talking while the mobile person goes: Errrmm... jee... huh?... yes definitely..... eh of course..... mmmm mm i agree with you....... you're right....... hmmmmm you're always right....... i seeee mmm..... of course...... i'm listening......... hmmm........ mmm....... mm............ And when the phone eventually goes off:.......................

''What were you saying?''

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

That's not the case.

It just means that the other person is being naïve!
