What Shaykh Imran Hosein doesn't know is that the US Elections are on the 8th of November 2016 and not 4th of November. :P

Baba Vanga 2016 Predictions:

She is called the Nostradamus of the Balkans, and with good reason. Baba, Vanga, the blind Bulgarian clairvoyant, who died 20 years ago, is believed to have predicted the rise of the ISIS, the fall of the twin towers, the 2004 Tsunami, and the global warming, among a host of other events. “Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds.“ “The wolves will be howling in a bush and innocent blood will gush,” is, according to her followers, what she said about the fall of the twin towers.

Born as Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, in Strumica, Macedonia, Baba Vanga, mysteriously lost her eyesight when she was 12, during a massive storm. She went missing for a few days, and it is during one of these days, that she had her first vision.  Baba Vanga rose to popularity as she started to make predictions, and developed a healing touch, during the World War II. Several dignitaries visited the mystic during the years that she was active, including the Bulgarian tsar, Boris III. Before she died in 1996 from breast cancer, she had said that her gift would be passed on to a 10 year old girl, living in France, who will then take on from her. Her house has since been converted into a museum.

  1. Barack Obama will be the last president of the US: Baba Vanga had predicted that the 44th US president would be an African American, but she had also added that he would be the last one.
  2. Europe will cease to exist:
  3. Muslims will invade Europe:
  4. China will become the new super power:
  5. Hunger eradication: Baba Vanga has predicted that hunger will get eradicated sometime between 2025 and 2028.
  6. On to Venus: Humans will travel to Venus, according to the Baba, in search of new energy sources. They might even set up a colony there.
  7. Rome as the capital of the Islamic caliphate: Islam will finish invading the whole of Europe by 2043, and Rome will be the capital of the new caliphate.
  8. Ice caps melting: According to the Baba, ice caps will melt by 2045. The rate at which the ice caps are melting already due to global warming, does seem to suggest the same.
  9. Cloning of organs: As per Baba Vanga’s predictions, body organs will be cloned in 2046, and that would be the easiest method of treatment.
  10. US attacking Muslim dominated Europe: By 2066, the US will attack Muslim dominated Europe using climate change weapon, and will try to retake Rome and bring back Christianity.
  11. The return of Communism: By 2076, communism will return to Europe and the rest of the world
  12. Underwater civilisations: By 2130, civilisations will learn how to live under water, with the help of aliens
  13. The death of the Earth: By 3797, everything on Earth will cease to exist. However, humans will be advanced enough to move to a new star system.

No, a blind Bulgarian psychic didn't predict Muslim extremists will start WWIII in 2016

Sam Downing Dec 9th, 2015 by Sam Downing

How does a blind Bulgarian peasant woman who died in 1996 achieve worldwide fame in late 2015? By possessing clairvoyant powers she used to make grim predictions about the future – which are now starting to come true.

According to a chilling story from News.com.au, the mysteriously named Baba Vanga predicted that in 2016 (which is only a few weeks away), Europe will be overrun by Muslim extremists and wind up a "wasteland almost entirely devoid of any form of life".

Following ISIS scaring the crap out of everybody and tragic recent attacks in Paris and California, this prediction is absolutely freakin' terrifying. We all need to read up on everything else Baba Vanga predicted right now, so we know what we're in for!

Except... no. There's no need to book plane tickets to see the Amalfi Coast before it's reduced to barren rubble. Baba Vanga's powers make a cracking story. But they're also total B.S.

She looks like a psychic... so her powers must be legit!

According to legend, Baba Vanga was an ordinary young woman born in 1911 who was blinded in a windstorm and emerged with psychic powers — an origin story straight out of a comic book.

She used her abilities as a consultant to Bulgaria's royal family (not a good consultant, evidently, because that family was deposed in 1946) and later to the ruling Communist elite of Eastern Europe (who were also deposed).

Although her wisdom didn't do either of those parties much good, her abilities have gained attention in recent decades for their supposed accuracy: she appeared to predict massive disasters including the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami ("volcanoes will awaken. A huge wave will cover a big coast covered with people and towns") and the September 11 terrorist attacks ("American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush").

The problem is, it's difficult to determine the origin of these scarily accurate predictions — where Vanga made them, or even if she made them at all.

It's possible Vanga spoke or wrote down her prophecies in Bulgarian, and they've never been credibly translated into English. But a 2012 Washington Post investigation suggested a more likely source for all these predictions credited to her name: Russian social media and "conspiracy theory websites".

(Marnie O'Neill, who wrote the super-viral yarn for News.com.au that inspired this week's Vanga fever, told me via Twitter that the predictions in her article are sourced via the web.)

Vanga's admirers regularly insist more than 80 percent of her predictions have come true. According to Baba-Vanga.com (which only publishes information from "highly authoritative sources", FYI), that stat is drawn from 1960s research on her powers conducted by Professor Georgi Lozanov, "former director of the Bulgarian Institute of Suggestology".

Authoritative indeed.

(That website, by the way, doesn't sell any English-language publication listing Vanga's predictions. But you can buy an ebook of her "unique natural remedies" for $1.95.)

A 1995 profile on the blind clairvoyant by The New York Times noted that "each time Vanga predicts an event correctly ... her legend grows." It then added: "inaccurate predictions ... are quickly forgotten."

For example: she bolstered her fame by appearing to predict an earthquake that struck Bulgaria in 1985. But she also foretold the 1994 World Cup soccer final would be played between two teams beginning with the letter B. The final was played between Brazil (gasp!) and Italy (oh).

Her blunders get worse. Vanga supposedly predicted World War III would break out in 2010 and finish by 2014, after Muslim enemies had attacked with nuclear and chemical weapons that wiped out life in the Northern Hemisphere.

Hmm, that's odd — I don't remember WWIII raging away in the last five years. You?

It's possible it happened and we were all too distracted by the rise of the Kardashians. It's also possible Vanga's powers are B.S., which doesn't stop her admirers from twisting themselves in knots explaining how that WWIII prediction actually foretold the Arab Spring.

Vanga's legend looks even sketchier when you look at her guesses for the future. In 2012, Vice rounded up Vanga's supposed predictions, drawing on a list commonly copy-pasted to blogs and message boards (none of which cite where the predictions came from): In 2023, the Earth's orbit will change. In 2033, the polar ice caps will melt. In 2066, the US will unleash its "climate-changing weapon on Muslim-controlled Rome".

Beyond the 21st century is even zanier: civilisations will live underwater with the help of aliens (2130), humanity will discover time travel (2304), and the universe will end (5079).

Uh-oh.

Sounds dire, but it's familiar territory for sceptics used to shooting down the predictions of another so-called psychic: the 16th-century French astrologer Nostradamus.

Unlike Vanga, he at least wrote down his predictions in a convenient book, Les Propheties. But like Vanga, the things he foretold are so vague they can be twisted to match any notable world event, usually after it's happened. She now seems primed to take his place as pop culture's go-to psychic.

Well, so what if it's all bunk, you might argue. But it does matter — partly because Vanga's "predictions" are swallowed so easily by drones who go on to trot them out on Facebook and at dinner parties (while you sit at the end of the table politely not rolling your eyes).

But mostly it's because a blind Eastern European peasant who predicted intense and weird stuff about to crash down on us would be cool as hell... if it was real. That it's not, that reality is once again predictably mundane and explainable and boring, is just plain frustrating.
