The discussion and the question in the thread was regarding Sayyida Atika Bint Zayd (RA) , the Majlis article is about Aatiqah –radhiyallahu anha
There is no response needed for the rest of the tittle-tattle at all but the main issue remains undiscussed!
Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa BaBinrakatuh,
As per the request of Brother Abu Mohammad, posting this question to Khala Ummi Talib (publicly) instead of PM which she requested...
Sorry for this rude and presumption set of questions.
Please tell us about the great Sahabi woman:
Please consult the Ulama of your choice and quote the authentic sources of the responses.
Jazakallahu Khayran
In that case Khala would you care to give me the benefit of the doubt (as courtesy) despite knowing my faults and shortcomings that anyone who doesn’t know about these fundamental facts perhaps should REFRAIN from commenting on the issue of women attending Mosques and particularly adopting an abusive tone and behaviour?
Don’t you think it’s a reasonable request that if a person doesn’t even know the entire history and discussions of a very well-known woman Sahabi (RA) her spouse and others at the time then the least they could do is NOT ABUSE people?
All that happened was people were asked about the incident of Sayyida Atika Bint Zyad (RA) and Sayydina Ameerul-mumineen Umar (RA) about women attending Mosques and what we got is pages upon pages of cursing and abuse!
Request for addition:
i only know women prayed salah at the masjid in the time of Rasoolullaah sallallaahu 'alayhiw asallam and afterwards and do so till this day
Request for all Sisters:
It is a question you should be ASKING Ulama there is a reason why the floodgates of abuse have been opened!
Please point out where an accusation has been made that YOU have abused anyone.
Be patient & discuss and Allah (SWT)'s help will be with you, Insha'Allah
No problems you are our elder. Here is clarification on the discussion:
Please indicate your response to the discussion can then proceed.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
