i looked into a few sites offering hijama training for men. the fees are EXTORTIONATE!
how difficult can it be to learn how to make a few scratches and use a vacuum cup to extract blood? the academic side of it can just be taken from reading material and forums.
the brother i go to for cupping learnt from his wife, and she just attended a one day training course!
You are right, its not that difficult, why dont you ask the brother to teach you, he'll be rewarded for teaching you a Sunnah, and you'll be rewarded for learning and implementing a Sunnah.
i recently did hijamah for a 65 year old brother from india. If any one can handle seeing blood then please feel free or else don't look if it's too much to bare.
I didn't know what option to click as I certainly didn't "like" them pictures, unfortunately there isn't a "yuk/gross" option (in a positive way though).
@brother Brooklynyte4ever, can you tell by the colour and quality of the blood that is extracted what type of deficiency or problem is present in the body, for example I've noticed that very foamy blood is often caused by too much acidity in the blood, and usually people in this category do not drink milk, and drink and eat very acidic foods?
I know it's gross bro but it helps those to get an idea of what is lurking on the inside of every person, especially those that have serious health issues.all this blood was extracted within a 25 minute session. That's all it takes. Glad you like the pics. Sorry , I can't cover the pics
To be honest, I couldn't tell you because blood extracted from hijamah is usually dead blood cells and other toxins that build up after a long period of time.i guess that if the bad blood which is taken out Is brought to a lab, it could be tested .
Jazakullah for the info. That's just crazy to charge that kind of money to learn how to perform hijamah. Could you tell me how much it costs in the uk to get cupped for one session at the hijamah center? Is it expensive?
i have used a couple of different brothers. both would be considered unofficial and perform cupping from their homes. one did not specify any charge and was happy to accept whatever you could afford to give. the other charged £25 for upto 5 cups and £5 per extra cup thereafter. i would consider these charges quite reasonable.
i dont know how much the 'official' cuppers charge. i expect it to be a lot more. some (if not all) also make you take a consultation session which they also charge you for.
The prices also very over here in the states. I myself use to charge 100$ but then I dropped it down to 50$ for a session that consists of 6-8 wet cups depending on the condition of the person. I don't charge the poor who can't afford it or take what ever some one gives me if they are tight. Others charge 200 $ to 300$ per session . But I like the unofficial way. Hijamah is easy and it should not be monopolized .
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
