Yes, it's a long process as I mentioned before, but it's worth it !
The nasheed is about the love between father and child. Insha Allah I'll start working on the translation.
Until we can get it up here without compromising private urls
I posted this in the morning. Couldn't provide a url because other than the MSN server, the file was not on any other that I knew of.
And when I return from work, (exhausted ?)
And I enter the house, and see my beloved child
Then she opens her arms
"Father has come, what joy!"
:-)
aaaaaaaaawwwwwwww ... i really can't get enough of it
My daughter, my daughter |
Her place is in my heart |
If there was a trial for me | إن كان لي من فتنةٍ |
In my old age, then she would be my trial |
Oh the trial of charm |
Her gift is my love |
And she is all innocence |
In her image is the pleasure of my eye |
And her footsteps are magical |
Just like the wind |
And when she smiles at me | وحينما تبسم لي |
She cajoles me with her smile |
And it is as though the entire world | كأنما الدنيا تماما |
Is within my grasp |
First in my day always |
Is a kiss from my child |
So that I return to my child |
After that kiss |
And when I return from work, exhausted |
And I enter the house I see my beloved daughter |
Then she throws open her arms |
"Father has come! What joy!" |
I carry my daughter high |
In my arms like a star |
I ask her who came | اسألها من جائكم |
She says Grandma |
And Grandpa came | وجاء جدّي راشدٌ |
And Khala (mum's sister) and Foy (dad's sister) |
"Slow down little one | مهلا أيا صغيرتي |
Did the whole family come?" | هل جاء كل الأسرة |
And when I am sleeping deeply |
After my meal |
She hurries to me quickly |
And snatches me out of my slumber |
"Father, I broke my toy!" |
"Father, I broke my toy!" |
And sometimes she says to me | وتارة تقول لي |
"Father, I've switched my shoes | بابا نكست جزمتي |
But they make me fall" | لكنني أنهرها |
"Get out of my room !" |
She deafens me with her chatter |
She says to me, "Oh Father, Oh Father, Oh Father | تقول لي يا ابتي يا ابتي يا ابتي |
Sleep with me in the room" | نغفوا معا في الغرفة |
And when I carry her in mercy ??? |
When she tells me, | اذا بها تنذرني |
"Father, you forgot my story" |
And when I begin my story with ardour |
A story about a wolf which | حكاية الذئب الذي |
Wanted to eat the ewe |
She sleeps in my ???
Plants a kiss ??? |
Then I return afterwards |
(And she is) In a deep slumber |
this really is a beautiful song.
there is a major difference when u know the meaning.
incredible.
jazakillah for the transalation.
My mum always has a bit of a go at me because I get so enthusiastic about things, and then get upset when nobody shares my enthusiasm.
This nasheed really did make me cry, and I'm so glad that I could share that emotion with you guys.
I make dua that Allah makes the mothers the best mothers for the muslim children, and the fathers the best fathers, and the wives the best wives for the muslim men, and the husbands the best husbands for the muslim women, and the sons the best sons and the daughters the best daughters.
Mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sons and daughters who are dutiful to Allah and fulfil each others rights and do not oppress one another. Aaameen !
*tears welling up again*
Fee amaanillah
