Salam,

Yes there is a sisters group, You will need to subscribe to the group using the 'usergroups' link from the right hand side menu.
You can then be added to the group Insha Allah.

Errm but just to let you know, its not entirely sisters ONLY unfortunately. The male admins have access. I guess they think we'll get dangerous or something if we're left on our own........ sad state of affairs, really - extremely sad :( please make dua they can leave nicely without us even having to ask them. Like Allah must just put it in their hearts and they must leave. Ameen.

Don't worry sister, the section is entirely for you, below is a few notes from admin for your information.

Also note that if you make a post or a major edit, then authorizers will see it.

If one of the brother authorizer happens to come across it, then inshaAllah, it will be ignored as much as possible, for this reason please do not feel that your posts are not going to be sorted. InshaAllah, a sister will continue with reading the post and authorizing it. However, if it is a small edit then by all means, we will quickly glimpse through it and give it the all clear inshaAllah.

Same goes for PMs between sister if they need authorizing.

Hope that clears the air.

1. I am not making it visible to admins because I want to read what goes on or 'spy'
2. They need to realise that subject lines are visible and when a post needs authorising it's still visible
3. I barely visit public forums as it is let alone private groups (due to site work etc)
4. If I didn't have access I wouldn't be the site admin. If you want it 100% private you should create your own private forum on a domain/hosting your own
5. Authorisers wouldn't be authorisers if they can't see what they're authorising

I feel the exact same way, so long as its females.

But really, its ok. They were very decent and told us from before that they have to have access, so its not like we didnt know. Still dua can change taqdeer and i'm making dua that the sis group can somehow become sisters ONLY.... insha'Allah!

There should be no need for that as Maulana said, you can start your own forums for that.

Honesty is the always the best policy. Admin has full access to everything, so this option is not possible.

I too will make dua that there isn't a full sisters section on MuftiSays. Because I'm sure, much valuable work will remain hidden from the rest of the world.

I'm sorry sister.

Dua can change taqdeer, that's true, in fact I have a whole thread based on it. But that dua inshaAllah will be allocated elsewhere.

:)

Br abu mohammed jazaakallah 4 your posts.

So just to understand this better - there's actually a very slim chance that any male admin will see what we post in the sisters group?

Edit: Btw i doubt anyone will lose out on benefiting from us if there's a sisters group (unless they want priceless advise about which handbag to buy and how to decorate cakes etc.).

Trust me, all the saint caps come off when its sisters only. That's why it needs to be sisters only. All the same, i'll make dua that your dua wins mine if that's best.

I'm an expert in handbags, so you'll have to find something else.

Before we get told to remain in topic, you should start a new thread on handbags, then I can really reply and expose what really goes on.

I've spent hundreds on handbags for my wife, so I know what it feels like being on the other end.
