A Turkish Nasheed about our beloved Prophet (s.a.w.)

Halalified YT Audio

Ay Yzl Peygamberim

Ay yzl peygamberim,
Sen'den daha gzeli yok.
Gl yzl peygamberim,
Sen'den daha stn yok.

Sana aşık oldu İsa,
Gıpta etti sana Musa.
Kainatta her ne varsa,
Dedi "Ente, ente Resulallah"

mmetinin gz bebeği,
Yaratan'ın sen en ok sevdiği.
Hasan Hseyin'in dedesi,
Sen'sin alemlerin efendisi.

Sana aşık oldu İsa,
Gıpta etti sana Musa.
Kainatta her ne varsa,
Dedi "Ente, ente Resulallah"

(Turkish lyrics from: ilahisozleri)

English Translation:

My Moon Faced Prophet (s.a.w.)

My moon faced prophet (s.a.w.)
There is none more beautiful than you.
My rose faced prophet (s.a.w.),
Nobody (human) is superior to you.

Isa عليه السلام loved you,
Musa عليه السلام envied you.
Everything in the universe,
Said "ente, ente Rasulullah (s.a.w.)"

The darling of your ummah,
The one most beloved to the Creator.
The grandfather of Hasan and Husain,
You are the gentlemanly guide of the worlds.

Isa عليه السلام loved you,
Musa عليه السلام envied you.
Everything in the universe,
Said "anta, anta Rasulullah (s.a.w.)"

Kindly move this thread to "People's Say" as that is where I clicked to post it. Not sure how it ended up in the "Light Side."

(salaam)

The Arabic word for "you' is anta (for male) and anti (for female). Never heard of "Ente". Are you sure it is Arabic?

Yes, it is Arabic. Turks transliterate it as 'ente.'

Wa iyyaka. No worries, no need to apologize brother. I've changed the translation to reflect the proper transliteration insha'Allah. JazakAllah khayran - insha'Allah this way everyone can recognize it.
