Actually the decision was made on the basis of

Quote:
He claimed that CPSP delegations during recent visits to Saudi Arabia and some Gulf states had presented distorted facts about Pakistan’s university programme to maintain monopoly of the CPSP-sponsored FCPS qualification.

Basically Pakistan's own corrupt officials are responsible for this fiasco. Before these morons went and meddled the Saudis were perfectly ready to accept Pakistani doctors' training and education. So much for "Naya Pakistan".

Regarding Mahdi, the ulema have been saying all the signs have arrived for about a century now. It's not so much a calculated statement as it is wishful thinking.

It is a calculated statement. That is a long shot that anyone has been saying it for a century. The faggots and Lesbos appeared on a large scale recently. The women on Saddles just recently became common. Both on cars and on actual saddles. I visited west Canada 70% of the people doing the horse work to round cattle or to compete in rodeos are now women.

I can give ample examples of the minor signs. Two heavyweights have said near the end of their life that the ship has sunk and the only person to revive (and do mass scale Islah of) this Ummah is Imam Mehdi.

i am happy with this decision

pakistan is central capital of corruption

so many of my fam members in pak have been messed around even by docs who work in the big hospitals

i would feel more comfortable getting treated by someone who trained to be a doc from the west

Many Pakistani doctors work in UK/America/canada/australia...and other countries,,

The hospitals trust them and gives them jobs, they get registered with their medical councils, they do well in their postgraduate exams and training.

So nothing wrong with them. You may have some ‘perception’ problem.

This post has been reported. It could be due to breaking rules or something as simple as bad use of bbcodes which breaks the page format. We will attend to this soon.

I am glad that you are happy. At least, someone is happy with the Saudi, even if for a disputed reason :)

Unfortunately, most of us have to go abroad for good quality training in various branches of Medicine (and other fields too), as we Muslims had stopped taking interest in science for many centuries. The good news is, those who get sufficient training abroad, when they come back, they start giving training to local graduates, that way most of the new graduates don't need to travel abroad and they learn the required skills in their own country. It is easy and cheap.

Pakistan started its own postgraduate training scheme in sixties, under college of physicians and surgeons. It has now tremendously evolved and standardised into a respectable degree, and young doctors in pakistan prefer it over western degrees. Initially there were those issues of considering western degrees superior (a legacy of colonial rule),but it is no more....

The doctors get their primary postgraduate degree of FCPS and then, if they want further sub-specialisation,they get a ‘diploma’ training from anywhere in the world, that ‘anywhere’ is not necessarily the ‘Almighty west’ , i have seen some surgeons learning laparoscopic surgeries even in India, and i find them better trained as compared to their western trained colleagues.

Our new generation is fast closing the gapes left by earlier generations, and that makes me more happy than your happiness about saudi decision.

I have worked both in the west and UAE. Unfortunately, i found Arabs more racist than the Europeans. They have a very obvious bias in favour of ‘white skin’ and the ‘colour of passport’ rather than the professional competence of a doctor, even if a non-white doctor carries a western qualification, and sometimes even the same qualifications.

واللہ المستعان

ALIF let's see where medicine is in 10years time

It's not about the colour but the place

Money buys quality medical care n those who have money don't go to Pakistan or Asia of all places

I found Pakistanis quite racist too

Go to Saudi n they backbite n trash talk how the Saudis are so so and so yet its the Arabs giving them the opportunity to earn a better lifestyle than their home countries

racist internally too, first its against mirpuris then against other castes

Firstly Mirpuri is not a caste...Secondly you are making very little coherent sense, or argumentation.

Just arguing for arguments sake...Are you Madhkali Salafi who believe Saudi regime must be defended at all costs right or wrong.

Saudis are not offering charity to Sub-continent migrants. They are working as professionals there. They had BETTER opportunity and better facilities in Canada, US, UK, Europe etc. They preferred to move to Saudia to bring their children in Islamic environment.

At present, considering Islamic culture, things are getting better in Canada than in Gulf.
Tu naheen aur saheeh, aur naheen aur saheeh.
End of the day, ordinary saudis are at receiving end.

No they dont go to the west because they knows their chances are slim to get approved

The west knows the people from the subcontinent are dodgy which is why guys are happy when they get lucky to marry a lass because by the time get citizenship they do what they want even sometimes leaving their wife or husband

Remember Saudi Arabia is the birth place of our prophet and he saw commanded respect of the Arabs in Hadith

Much of their policies are questionable and their leaders r corrupt but they done much good too

You are the only one with respect right?
You are the only one that cares about Arabs?
A quick Google search will tell you that the Saudis are not Banu Hashim but they are Najdis that usurped the land of the four fathers of Nabi Sallahu alayhi wa sallam.

It is no wonder that Rasulullah
(Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had refused to make dua for the Najdis. He made dua thrice for the People of Shaam and Yemen. However, even on being requested, Nabi (Sallallahu alayhi
wasallam) declined. On the contrary he said that in Najd are the “horns of shaitaan”. “Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam)
supplicated: “O Allah! Grant us barkat in our Shaam and in our Yemen.” The Sahaabah said: ‘And in our Najd?’ Rasulullah (Sallallahu
alayhi wasallam) responded: “O Allah! Grant us barkat in our Shaam and in our Yemen.” (The Sahaabah again asked): ‘And in our Najd?’ Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Over there will be earthquakes, anarchy and mischief (fitan –plural of fitnah), and the horns of shaitaan rise there.”

That is your side of story. Many very good doctors and other professionals preferred gulf over west; not because of commercial gains, their selection of gulf was the religious surroundings, unfortunately they are vanishing now. Even masjid e haram and masjid e nabvi is not safe now.

Regarding respecting Arabs, even Hajjaj and Yazeed were Arabs.
