Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz said yesterday that the Palestinian issue is “the number one” Arab issue and East Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine.

“The Palestinian cause is our number one issue and will remain so until the Palestinian people obtain all their legitimate rights, particularly the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital,” King Salman said in his inauguration speech at the Arab League meeting held in Dhahran.

He also rejected the US Administration’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, lauding the international consensus against the move. “We emphasise that East Jerusalem is an integral part of the Palestinian territory,” he said.

The King went on to reiterate the importance of sovereignty, independence, security and territorial integrity for Yemen where a Saudi-led coalition is battering the Arab world’s poorest nation in an effort to rid it of the Iran-backed Houthi group.

“We also support all efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to the crisis in Yemen, in accordance with the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of Yemen’s Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference and UN Security Council Resolution number 2216,” he said.

He added: “We call on the international community to work towards preparing all means to deliver humanitarian aid for the various areas of Yemen.”

The King blamed the Houthis and Iran for the misery in Yemen. “We hold the Iran-backed Houthi militias fully responsible for the emergence and continuation of the Yemeni crisis and the human suffering that has afflicted Yemen.”

He noted that the Houthis have launched 119 ballistic rockets towards the Kingdom, including three targeting Mecca.

He criticised Iran’s interference in the internal affairs of the Arab countries.

Human rights groups around the world have on numerous occasions criticised Saudi Arabia’s role in Yemen and pointed at its indiscriminate strikes in the country which have killed women and children and which have been described as “war crimes”.

This post has been reported. It could be due to breaking rules or something as simple as bad use of bbcodes which breaks the page format. We will attend to this soon.

Sorry! I would write myself if i could but the way Maulana sums up the bootlickers of saudi i can't match. Problem is, its hard to find any other Maulana who condemns these bootlickers so fittingly. Please do something to fill the vacuum then.

The issue is not if Maulana is correct or not. If users post from banned sites, a lot of the time the posts by Maulana are great but sometimes, they can cause a major rift.

So who decides where to draw the line? Some members will feel it is unfair to block good work and some members will report posts knowing the source and ask for it to be removed as per the rules.

Therefore, not being biased on which posts can stay and which cannot - actions are taken on the contents, context, the manner, the topic, and reports by users.

On a side note, Maulana Yasin himself said in this post

Good article has no need to insult people, their families, their mother, sister, cat, pigeon etc.

Our Ulama have never called the female members of each others families prostitues etc. They have vigorously differed and vehemently disagreed e.g. India/Pakistan but neither the Pro-Pakistan nor the Pro-India Ulama have ever called each other brothers of Shaytaan and cursed each other’s family members as prostitutes.

And Lastly, Islamic history is filled with scholarly arguments and disagreements and vast majority of scholars quote each other and disagree. Imam Abu Haneefa (RA) and Imam Malik (RA) disagreed with each other for days and nights while still talking to each other. Imam Ahmed Ibn Hanbal (RA) and Imam Shaf’ae (RA) studied under the students of Imam Abu Haneefa (RA) and then disagreed.  Our people call everybody else who disagrees with them stupid etc and curse their family members.

To finish, it is IDIOTIC to state that Sayyiduna Umar (RA) was harsh! There is difference of night and day between harsh and calling someone’s sister or daughter prostitutes, Sayyiduna Umar (RA) NEVER ONCE uttered that for any of the Sahaba-e-Kiraam and there are monumental disagreements of his in Islamic history with others. He even pelted them with stones or hit them with a whip and admonished people in full fury BUT never did he curse them or their families!

I agree. Calling a respected Maulana a Saudi bootlicker is going way too far. Our akabir never used such a word for anyone. Refute the position but don't insult the person.

I think calling a saudi bootlicker a bootlicker is fine, rather needed. You don't need akabir for proof for something so obvious.

Is there something positive on the concerned website ? I mean an article that would actually encourage any initiatives of the muslims, instead of the usual name calling ? When even the likes of Mufti Ebrahim Desai (HA) gets attacked, it is not 'courageous' to report the saudis' evil, it's rather AK47 non-stop jarh wa jarh, everybody is equal in their eyes !

salaam

who can blame one for displaying anger and emotions against those who support and assist the tyrants? imagine if a member of your family was made to 'disappear' by the tyrants. how would you feel against them and their supporters then? anger and hatred against the saudis and their supporters is more than justified. but we do not understand because most of us have not been tested to the extent that others have. when the bread winner of your family is taken away, tortured, killed. when your sisters are left without their mahram and have to beg in the streets to feed her kids. when your home is bombed or demolished. when your child's lifeless body hangs limply cradled in your arms. when the only belongings you have are those that you and your kids were able to carry away to a refugee camp. then we will understand why such words are justified against those who support such a corrupt, sinful, tyrannous, evil regime. the reality of the saudi tyrants is hidden from no one. only someone with a diseased heart would support them. may allah destroy them and their supporters.

Saudi will always be a centre for lots of people , no matter what the leadership gets up to scholars still back the country due to monetary influence and entrenched positions, these scholars say we only follow scholars of KSA, the reality is very different, every facet of lives is governed by the royal court and just look at what they have been upto on the global stage.

Shame.
