In the following interview Mufti Muhammad Rafi' Usmani [hafizahullah] is reading out an official statement in the presence of Mawlana 'Azizur Rahman, Mufti Mahmood Ashraf & Mufti Abdur Rauf Sukharvi - who are all senior teachers at Darul Uloom Karachi. And Mufti sahab explicitely requests in this recording to spread this message by all possible channels & means. So, I made this short clip...
Just like we have terrorist groups who always defame Islam. Can't we have a true religious groups who prove the true Islam through our actions and programs ?
This post has been reported. It could be due to breaking rules or something as simple as bad use of bbcodes which breaks the page format. We will attend to this soon.
When the initial period of strong grief and mourning over the loss of so many innocent lives is over, we should flip the coin and take a look at the other side of the story. Mawlana Abdul 'Aziz [hafizahullah], who's interview clip is circulating around, was treated like he was in line with such a heinous crime although he clearly said, that it was wrong, tragic and not justifiable. But he raised an important question: Are civilians murdered in the name of Islam we Muslims feel obliged to come out and severely condemn it, but why do we not find the same courage to oppose cases of "State Terrorism"?
Saying something explicit on a public forum may not be appropriate. Suffice to say, some of the actions of Maulana Abdul Aziz (DB) have been utterly disappointing.
This raises the question why Muslims, TTP, agreed to outsiders coming and killing their own children so that Army could feel the pinch. This was simply insane even if we forget the fact that most of the children were of civilian parents even if they were studying in Army Public School.
It is clear that this would will take forever to heal and will never be forgotten but even then we got to move on.
It is heartening that our Scholars, from Pakistan as well as India, have made their stance amply clear and TTP will get the message that their thought process is not entirely healthy.
They may have spoken Arabic so that no one can understand. They definitely don't look like they are Arabs. In fact they look more Pakistani/Afghan than anything else. I don't think they were outsiders, unless I missed something in the reports.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
