To be frank, I consider comparing the statistics of UK and India pretty absurd. It is an big issue in both places. Arfatzafar, brought UK into this thread because the OP jinn is from UK. I find such behavior immature. As if its my country vs your country.

I live in India, I know people who are social workers who come across sexually abused victims often. The problem is laymen do not hear any of this news, other than through media. So they think the issue is only what is shown in the media. But its not.

In public transport like bus, its a known fact that its very difficult for women to travel without some guy groping or unnecessarily pressing their private parts against women. This pressing private parts against women in public is so common that it has even got a colloquial name here amongst the youth, which I won't be mentioning it here. Back in college I knew many guys who get in public transport to do this.

Rape is also a huge issue in India. Every year, many local cases which happen inside the state make it to the headlines, obviously only the tip of the iceberg is publicized. Plus many women are pushed into flesh trade by blackmailing them by taking their pictures through hidden camera etc. I can go on and on.

There is no doubt it is a huge problem in India. As for the 'comparison' with UK, it is absurd.
And shame on arfatzafar to bring UK into this thread just because someone from UK started this thread.

I don't his intentions but the Western Media continually brings Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and implicitly Islam into the rape/abuse discussion all the time to try to paint themselves whiter then white! Consider the following quotations from "From India To Irvine: The Man Behind @JihadiJew"

He arrived at the community center to find hundreds of people gathered along the street carrying signs emblazoned with slogans like “No Sharia Law!” and “God Bless America." Others had gathered on the front lawn yelling,

“Go back home!” to Muslim families arriving to the event.

“I bet your husband beats you!” they shouted at Muslim women.

“Terrorist!”

I was not aware of your or his location.

To avoid hokum and false allegations, let it be known that I don't know the location of any member (staff isnt included) if not specified in profile except of Br Muadh Khan and Br Maripat.

Got it..?

Such words as:
''Shame on....''
or
''Shut up''
arent spoken by a noble person on the forum.

This isnt the proper way to disagree.

Yeah its sickening and they are not allowing azan on loudspeakers too. Nobody, no politicians had condemned the attack, until now. It's truly a depressing state now.
