Mob armed with guns, knives, sticks and other weapons attacked Darul-uloom Taleemul-Qur'aan in Rawalpindi and killed 11 students, 4 people (in Salah) and injured over 100. Attack was done during Friday Khutbah where the mob entered the Darul-uloom after breaking the main gate and randomly started attacking people engaged in listening to the Khutbah. After entering they sprayed those in the Masjid with gasoline and tried to set people alight!

Mob then also set alight shops next to the Darul-uloom and then proceeded to BLOCK the fire brigade from responding to the fire at the Darul-uloom and the market.

This is one of the worst attacks of its kind and first on a Darul-uloom in broad daylight!

The mob was involved in celebrating Ashura (10th of Muharram). After killing they proceeded to deface and degrade the dead bodies of the students of Darul-uloom!

Salam

The Pakiatani government and media which is owned by the Yahood, Rafidhi's and Qadiani's are doing their best at the moment to keep this hush hush.

It's still a sad state of affairs as many in Pakistan still think of the Rafidhi as 'Masakeen''.

We were trying to call Pakistani mobiles for the last few days and it turns out that the government turned the mobile network off during the Ashura!

Assalamualaikum wr wb,

Everyone specially the media is trying to hide the facts (and have to a good extent succeeded in it.) The mobs dragged the madrassah students outside then beat them to death. Also, few were slaughtered and then their heads cut from their bodies. The asatiza (teachers) and their families were also made shaheed (martyred). This was clearly planned and is not any coincidence or mishap (or due to chanting slogans against each other.) They say it was an attempt to destabilize the country like the Arab countries.

(salam) akhi

I don't think it's an attempt to destabilise the country as seen in the so called 'Arab Spring'. The reason being if it does come down to it and it kicks off in Pakistan, then the Arab Spring will seem like nothing in comparison the reason being the general population of Pakistan, especially the Punjabis and the Pathans are heavily armed, in fact I would go far as to say they probably have more artillery then the army of Pakistan itself. The population of the Arab states hardly had any arms akhii and that's another why the heavy losses, PK population is heavily armed despite their being a strong presence of Yahoodi Nasrani Shia and Qadiani in all key positions, but the sad thing is the public still sleeps and is only concerned about themselves rather than the Ummah or others. However people have begun to wake up slowly and many are turning towards Deen. But a lot more still needs to be done.
