Asslamo Allaikum,

38 year old Zareen Shaukat daughter of Br Khalid Shaukat (moonsighting.com) is in need of Kidney transplant. She is unemployed and her father's insurance won't cover her Health needs.

  1. She is in urgent need for a Kidney, if you are able to donate please email moonsighting@gmail.com
  2. She is in urgent need of $200,000 and money can be donated through this site

Caution: There are pictures of the Sister on this page without Hijab which are outside of our control as we are merely trying to assist a Muslim family in need. We don’t condone the abandonment of Hijab or pictures of Muslim women in contradiction to Islamic Shariah.

Please make dua, **urgently** propagate this message and assist financially as best as you can.

19SEP2013 (14:00 GMT): I have discussed and confirmed it directly with Br Khalid Shaukat (moonsighting.com) via email

Jazakallahu Khairun

Oh subhanAllah! they should have seriously seriously looked towards South Asia esp. Bangalore, India for such ailments, $ 200000 is like 1 crore 20 lac rupees !!

They would have done it inshaAllah for less than a 10th of that money...no kidding.

Bangalore is famous for medical tourism and 1 or 2 other cities too (in India) - $ 200000 is daylight robbery.

May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant them complete and lasting ease in procuring funds, and grant shifa e kamila. Ameen.

Jazakallahu Khair for editing the posts. This is a serious topic and we should all make plenty of Dua for our Muslim sister and her entire family who are going through so much pain. Dua's go out to those who are also suffering similar illnesses as well as any other type of illness.

Assalaamu 'Alaykum

I would make du'a for the sister as I would for all others who are sick and weak. May Allah grant them complete shifa kamilah. As the brothers above have mentioned regarding Bangalore and other places in India then I can also say that I know personally many, many people from South Africa who have went specifically for this at a fraction of the cost that they would have paid at private institutions locally.

However, at the same time I would like to make the point the the sister is not the first or the last person undergoing these kinds of difficulties and while I acknowledge her and her families pain/difficulty I was rather shocked when I opened the giveforward.com page and found a smiling women without any hijab, etc.

Allahu A'lam

Br Khalid Shaukat (moonsighting.com) is from Hyderabad (India) and has many Indian friends so I am sure that he is well aware of his options. Someone from my family spoke to his wife yesterday but obviously they probably won't suggest things on the phone.

The most important thing is finding a "Kidney" no matter if its in USA or India.

If you have solid, verifable concrete information which can help him please post and I will either email him or ask someone to call him or his wife but don't post what you read and hear on the Internet for me to convey to the father of a dying girl.

Everybody knows that medical costs are cheaper in India.

What does it take to simply ask ?

You may know medical costs are cheaper in India because you are of Indo-Pak origin but much of the world is yet to know...plus right here you have 3 people including me expounding the virtues of getting medical care in India - what else do people want? How is this hearsay? 2 of the guys are Indians - do others know about India more than them? Right here you had someone who clicked 'Informative' on my post...what does it say?

Shall I go in search of a kidney donor and give you their details?

You could have simply asked: "Is there anything concrete you know that I can inform Br. Shaukat?"

Surprising behavior bhaijaan..

Anyways for the good of the lady,

Click on Bangalore under NH Helpline contact number.

Don't forget to read their wiki page and also do a Google search..

Salamu alaikum Brothers and sisters,
This is an SOS call to help a sister, so please brothers avoid talking about the sister wearing or not the hijab (Make duaa for her). We have to understand that us muslims should be an example and we should be helping all people from any background (so talking about hijab in this context is just useless). May allah guide us and help us to follows his prophet (Muhammad PBUH) path. In arabic we say LI kulli makamin makal.

Salam
