The Pakistan government has nominated the calligrapher of the Prophet’s Mosque, Ustad Shafeeq uz Zaman, for the President’s Award of Pride of Performance in the calligraphy category.

President Asif Zardari will confer the award on Shafeeq uz Zaman on March 23.

Shafeeq uz Zaman has been doing calligraphy (in the Thuluth script) on the Mosque’s 177 domes. He won second prize at the International Calligraphy Competition in Istanbul, Turkey. He has also won several competitions at national and international levels. He learned calligraphy on his own and considers himself a disciple of the renowned 20th century calligrapher, Hamid Al-Amidi.

Shafeeq told Urdu News he was happy at the announcement of the award.

“Better late than never,” he said, adding, “Many of my students have received awards but I did not receive any appreciation at the government level. Being the calligrapher of the Prophet’s Mosque is a great honor for me.”

He said he has spent half of his life in Madinah and wishes to live the rest of his life there.

“After receiving the award I will try to make it (calligraphy) better and modify it,” he said.

Shafeeq said that in the age of computers, calligraphy’s importance will not fade. “All names on the doors of the Prophet’s Mosque like the King Fahd Gate, Salaam Gate, Rehmah Gate and others have been written by me without using computers.”

He added that he finds peace while doing calligraphy in the Prophet’s Mosque which he cannot find anywhere else. He added that 85 percent of the calligraphy work on the domes of the Prophet’s Mosque has been finished and the remaining work will be completed in three to four years.

أوضح فضيلة الدكتور فهد بن جبير السفياني مدير مكتبة الحرم المكي الشريف وأمين مركز البحث العلمي وإحياء التراث الإسلامي أن إدارات الرئاسة شهدت قفزات نوعية منذ تولى زمامها معالي الشيخ الدكتور عبدالرحمن السد يس وفقه الله وقد حظيت مكتبة الحرم بقفزة نوعية تمثلت في افتتاح صاحب السمو الملكي أمير منطقة مكة المكرمه الأمير خالد الفيصل مكتبة المسجد الحرام بالدور الثاني من توسعة الملك فهد – رحمه الله- في يوم السبت الموافق 22رجب 14334هـ مرتبطة إداريا بالمكتبة الأم مكتبة الحرم المكي الشريف فكانت هذه الخطوة عين الصواب لعودة مكتبة الحرم إلى مقرها ا?ول بجوار البيت الحرام تمهيدا لحط رحالها بالكامل في مبناها العالمي الجديد في التوسعة التاريخية الكبرى التي قام بها خادم الحرمين الشريفين – حفظه الله - للمسجد الحرام وبين فضيلته أن المكتبة تشتمل على قاعة للإطلاع وقسم للمكتبة الصوتية, وقسم للمخطوطات والنوادر والمكتبة الرقمية والحاسب الآلي لتزويد المطالعين والقراء بمختلف العلوم والمعارف وتستقبل روادها يومياً من الساعة الثامنة صباحاً الى الساعة الثانية عشره مساءً .

وأضاف فضيلة الدكتور فهد السفياني أن مساحتها تبلغ أكثر من 1000 متر وتحتوي على أكثر من ثلاثين ألف مجلد (30.000) تحمل أكثر من خمسة آلاف وستمائة عنواناً ( 5.600 ) و تسعي المكتبة لخدمة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة وخدمة الاستعلامات وخدمة التصوير الذاتي وخدمة تصفح الكتب الرقمية وخدمة المخطوطات الرقمية وخدمة الصوتيات ( الخطب . الدروس . التلاوات .. الخ ) و خدمة النسخ ( الكتب الرقمية . الخطب .. الخ ) وخدمة الانترنت لرواد المكتبة.

ووفرت المكتبة كُتب مطبوعة ( نادرة ) من القرن الثاني عشر هجري ،

منها مجمع الأنهر في شرح ملتقى الأبحر الذي الفه عبدالرحمن بن شيخ محمد سليمان المدعو بشيخ زادة ويرجع تاريخ الطبع , إلى أواسط شعبان سنة 1258هـ والذي طبع بدار الخلافة العلية. وأيضاً كتاب: الأشباهـ والنظائر من تأليف زين الدين بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن نجيم المعروف بابن نجيم المصري ، سنة 970هـ ويرجع تاريخ طباعته ، لسنة 1260 هـ والذي طبع بدار الملمة بنمبر العامرة. من جهة اخري شرعت مكتبة المسجد الحرام ابوابها لزوار للاطلاع على ما تحتويه من كتب ومخطوطات نادرة.

وأختتم الدكتور فهد السفياني تصريحه بأن افتتاح مكتبة المسجد الحرام يأتي تعزيزاً لرسالة الحرمين الشريفين العلمية والدعوية ولتشكل منظومة الخدمات التوجيهية والإرشادية والتعليمية الموجهة لرواد الحرمين الشريفين انطلاقاً من توجيهات ولاة الامر حفظهم الله التي تنص دائما وابداً على بذل كل ما من شأنه العناية والرعاية برواد الحرمين الشريفين وتقديم افضل وأرقي الخدمات لهم.

تسارعت وتيرة العمل في مشروع خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز لتوسعة الحرم المكي الشريف وتوسعة صحن المطاف لرفع الطاقة لاستيعاب المزيد من المعتمرين، إضافة لتشغيل مبنى التكييف المركزي لمشروع وقف الملك عبدالعزيز، وقد اتضحت أول معالم هذه التوسعة التاريخية للحرم.

وكشفت لـ«عكاظ» مصادر مطلعة أن العمل ينفذ خلال 3 محاور رئيسية، الأول: التوسعة ذاتها للحرم المكي، ليتسع بعد التوسعة لمليوني مصل، الثاني: الساحات الخارجية وتحوي دورات المياه والممرات والأنفاق والمرافق الأخرى المساندة والتي تعمل على تسهيل انسيابية الحركة في الدخول والخروج للمصلين والمعتمرين والحجاج، والثالث: منطقة الخدمات والتكييف ومحطات الكهرباء ومحطات المياه وغيرها.

وأكد مصدر مسؤول في الرئاسة العامه لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي أن أعمال التوسعة تتواصل حاليا وقد وصلت إلى مراحل متقدمة من التنفيذ، مشيرا إلى أن الرئاسة ضاعفت جهودها بالتنسيق مع المجموعة المنفذة لمضاعفة الإنتاجية اليومية لإنجاز المشاريع، مشيرة إلى أن مشروع خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز لتوسعة الحرم المكي الشريف يتكون من 6 مكونات رئيسية، فبالإضافة إلى مبنى التوسعة الرئيسي هناك الساحات الخارجية، الجسور، مبنى المصاطب، ممرات المشاة، مبنى الخدمات ومحطات التكييف والتوليد الاحتياطية.

وأضاف: روعي في تنفيذ المشروع التقنيات الحديثة لتأمين راحة وسلامة الحجاج والمعتمرين ووصولهم بيسر وسهولة إلى الحرم المكي، ولضمان تسهيل حركة المصلين الانسيابية بمزيد من الراحة أضيف عدد من الجسور تربط بين المصاطب الشمالية والمبنى الحالي للحرم المكي الشريف، مخترقة مبنى التوسعة بجميع مناسيبه مع تهيئة الساحات الخارجية بين مبنى التوسعة والمصاطب الشمالية لتستوعب أعدادا متزايدة من المصلين، وتزدان هذه المنظومة العمرانية بمظلات آلية الفتح والإغلاق وذلك لحماية المصلين من أشعة الشمس والأمطار، فيما توجد أسفل الساحات دورات مياه ومواض، وشكلت المصاطب الشمالية نسب مستويات متدرجة تتماشى مع الطبيعة الجغرافية للجبال المحيطة يستعمل سطحها ساحات إضافة إلى الصلاة بإطلالة مميزة.

ولتسهيل حركة الدخول والخروج من التوسعة يخترق مبنى المصاطب الخط الدائري الأول من الشرق إلى الغرب، إضافة لتوفير ممرات مميزة من الساحات أسفل المصاطب بالمناطق الشمالية للمسجد الحرام، وكذلك يخترق مبنى المصاطب نفق خدمات يرتبط بالمحطة المركزية للحرم المكي.

وتتميز توسعة الحرم المكى بقبة رئيسية منزلقة وعلى جانبه قاعات أربع للصلاة متساوية المناسيب في الدورين الأول والثاني تنقسم إلى قاعات رئيسية وفرعية بينها أفنية داخلية بارتفاع المبنى مغطاة بأسقف زجاجية منزلقة.

ويتكون المطاف المؤقت من طابقين متعامدين يرتبط أحدهما بأروقة الدور الأرضي والآخر بالدور الأول الذي سيخصص لطواف المعوقين، كما سيراعى ربطه بمسار سعي المعوقين في ميزانين الدور الأرضي حفاظا على سلامتهم وتسهيلا لأداء النسك، وسيتم تخصيص الدور الأرضي من المطاف المؤقت للمشاة لتخفيف العبء على صحن المطاف.

«عكاظ» وقفت على أعمال المشروع ورصدت إنهاء شوط كبير من الأعمال بعدما دخل المشروع أمس مرحلة متقدمة في العمل، حيث أصبحت الإنشاءات ظاهرة للعيان وأصبحت معالم المشروع المنجز وملامحه واضحة. وتجري حاليا أعمال وضع الأساسات للمشروع للانتهاء من مرحلته الأولى قبل حج هذا العام، وتعتمد محاور المشروع على توسعة المطاف الحالي المجاور للبدروم، وامتداده بعمق 27 مترا داخل البدروم، إلى جانب رفع منسوب أرضية الدور الأرضي، وربط المطاف بمنسوب البدروم في الدور الأرضي عن طريق منحدرات وعناصر اتصال رأسي، وتوفير الخدمات اللازمة للطائفين، ويركز المشروع على إدخال المصلين إلى منسوب المطاف، من خلال عدة محاور عن طريق سلالم (عادية، ومتحركة)، مع رفع منسوب أرضية الدور الأرضي بمقدار متر للحفاظ على العلاقة البصرية بين الطائفين والكعبة المشرفة، كما يعتمد المشروع على إعادة تشكيل الرواق العثماني بمفرداته وعناصره المعمارية من أقواس، وقباب وأعمدة دون إزالته بالكامل، مع ربط منسوب الدور الأرضي بمنسوب الطواف عن طريق منحدرات وعناصر اتصال رأسي، مع استحداث الدخول والخروج من خلال عناصر الاتصال الرأسي القائمة من نفق السيارات إلى الجسور الموصلة مباشرة بالدور الأول.

وقالت مصادر مطلعه إن إنجاز المرحلة الرابعة من مشروع التوسعة الجديدة للمسجد النبوي الشريف ستنفذ عن نحو 12.5 هكتار تحتوي على100 عقار، وتجرى حاليًاَ الاستعداد لبدء مشروع إزالة العقارات من الجهة الغربية المواتية لباب السلام وتشمل العقارات الواقعة في طريق السلام وكانت مراحل المشروع الأربعة قد بدأت في تنفيذ الأولى منها منذ انطلاقة أعمال الإزالة لصالح المشروع وتضمنت العديد من العقارات أبرزها سوق الأنصار وستة من الفنادق الكبرى المجاورة ثم المرحلة الثانية وتمت خلالها إزالة أكثر من 20 من الفنادق الكبرى عقبها تنفيذ المرحلة الثالثة التي تمت خلالها إزالة مستشفى الولادة القديم الذي شيد قبل ثلاثة عقود وكذلك عدد من الوحدات السكنية المجاورة واختتمت المرحلة الرابعة التي تضمنت إزالة عدد من الفنادق والأسواق المحاذية للدائري الأول. وكان تعويض المتر المربع الواحد في توسعة المسجد النبوي الشريف حسب ما تشير المصادر قد بلغ 400 ألف ريال كما أن هذه التوسعة ستشمل الجهات الغربية والشرقية والشمالية من الساحة المحيطة بالمسجد النبوي الشريف وتستوعب بعد إنجاز مشروع التوسعة 1.600.000 مصلٍ.
