Alhamdulillah I'm pleased to announce the London Tarbiyyah Conference in Association with Madina Masjid (Clapton) and Masjid e Quba (Stamford Hill)

Date: Saturday 28th June 2008
Venue: Masjid e Quba, Stamford Hill, 70-72 Cazenove Road, London N16 6AA
Time : Between Zohar and Asr (1.30pm onwards)
For Brothers & Sisters (separate facility next door at NLMCC)

Lots of duas and effort. Plenty of networking with others with the right contacts also.

Please can the message be spread via your email contacts and other internet forums etc. Also if anyone goes to local colleges like Hackney College, North East London College, Islington College, Newham College, Leyton College - im sure they all have prayer rooms where a poster can be put up.

Questions can be submitted from now or in writing on the day.

above all please make dua the event goes smoothly and is a means of guidance for the organisers, the events supporters and all those that attend (and dont for whichever reason)

As mentioned before on this site, please do not advertise softwares with too much Fitnah. Only sites with their own broadcasting system should be advertised on this site. 3rd party softwares with 1% Halaal/Good on it is not enough to justify promoting their softwares (they contain Kuffar rooms, anti Islamic rooms, adult rooms and many other filthy rooms) - Many Islamic sites have adopted professional broadcasting, I suggest the above organizers should be notified too.

Help Needed

Just a brief message asking for volunteers on the day of the event - preferably those from the Hackney area. This is our first joint Madina Masjid and Masjid Quba Tarbiyah Conference it would give a huge boost to the event and both our communities if people from both areas got together on the day to help out.

Volunteers are needed on the day to help with food, crowd control and if needed parking control.

Anyone who is available please call the brothers number on the poster asap - please forward this message onto those who might be interested.

Local sisters wanting to volunteer can call the sisters only number on the poster attached.

At the least ALL are requested to make dua that the event is successful and a means of guidance for all.

any local brother wishing to volunteer for the event please be at masjid quba after Asr 7:30 this friday when all the event volunteers will meet

inshallah Cd's with the events programs on them will be available via both masjid offices in the next week or so for a fee.

Asr for that day ONLY will be at 8:15

Sisters announcements

Sisters facilities are on the three madresah floors - entrance is through the normal middle large green gates. ALL sisters are requested to not stand around outside the front either before, during or after the event. Wudu/Toilet facilities will be on the 2nd and 3rd floors

After dua and just before Asr azaan (approx 8pm) 15mins before Asr jamaat ALL local sisters within walking distance to their homes OR who have their own transport (and do not need to wait for there mahrams / male folk) are requested to IMMEDIATELY leave before Asr.

Volunteers

Alhumdolillah many brothers have mentioned via email, phone or in person that theyd be happy to volunteer for the event. Can all who have please meet this Friday after Asr (7:30) on the 1st floor at Masjid Quba so names can be written down and duties can be allocated. Many things will also be done that Friday evening to ensure Saturday morning theres only a minimal amount to do.

Parking

Can ALL locals please walk to the masjid that day leaving parking spaces for those coming from afar.

Those coming from afar please try to use public transport (public transport routes are on the attached poster) or car share with others as parking on local roads will be minimal, minimise impact on neighbours parking and reduce ones carbon footprint.

Those who do come by car please do NOT park on double yellow lines as it blocks traffic especially buses (traffic wardens / clampers are normally also on patrol) and also do NOT park in anyones drive way as this causes inconvenience to neighbours who have rights over us AND it'll interrupt the conference as announcements will have to be made to move such cars
