Do circle back and consult with the person who sends out this information. Multiple Naked eye sightings in Pakistan as they should have been.

Fasad Chawdry is a lying Jackass but you will be surprised to know how disorganised and ill-informed Moonsighting is in Pakistan

Where was it sighted, Is it Jiwani or Gowdar.

Academic interest. To arrive at criteria for sighting the moon. Sri Lanka, Fiji, Newzealand are confusing us.

Were any telescopes used here.

Pasni. Gawadar was part of Oman so if Moon is sighted in Oman it has to be sighted in Pakistan (later sunset) its common sense

The Science & Technology being used in Pakistan is archaic and ancient and coordination of Ulama to verify Sighting needs work. The Ulama are giving these Secularists and Modernists a chance to hurl abuse at the Deen, I have mentioned it to them many many times.

Pakistan has a unique situation (long country) with many latitudes. Even last year I had huge arguments with Ulama about Karachi and Sindh but any ways...

With little effort, this Moon should have been seen in India but in Pakistan relative ease it can be (and has been) seen.

Fiji Island has a robust Moonsighting system and I have a friend there but I am too busy to look into it but it is borderline "possible" and not "impossible", although remote so cannot discard it completely like the African sightings of May 22, 2020...Those African sightings are absurd.

How did south Africa missed it. They are well equipped, they had better chances than fiji, pakistan and srilanka.

Because they don't use any Technology at all. If Fiji had good quality Telescope, perfect weather and experienced sighters they could "possibly see" it.

South Africans only sight by Naked eye and only take Mass Sighting (Jamm-e-Ghafeer) into consideration (like Indians).

Pakistan and Sri Lanka have "Location Advantage"

May be Indian Ulema have concern that if we allow equipment, then next step is CCD manipulation. Or manipulation by operators of equipments.

Can jamm e ghafeer be created by allowing 10 or more people to look through the telescope.

You need to direct your question to Indian and South African Ulama as Ulama of Pakistan and other countries differ.

I don't know.

Only thing I will say is that Binoculars and Telescope is not CCD.

There is no minimum or maximum number for Jamm-e-Ghafeer in the Madhab, it is upto Ulama. Sometimes 10 may be enough and sometimes it may not be.
