True!!

Quote:
the locals were knocking at the doors of local muslims and pleading them to say Azaan at 3:00 AM in the night.

Not denying that.

Brother Rajab in my view is talking about mkdon101's post, but hey I could be wrong!

Or he is referring to the Muslims knocking on the doors of the Hindu (which makes more sense)

Referencing to the incidents in india. I was merely saying I doubt white English non muslims would have knocked on british muslims doors asking them to do their adhan on loudspeakers

In the UK the pandemic has brought many people together irrespective of faith, ethnicity, colour. Many people are coming together in different ways to help and comfort and tolerate each other in ways that they normally wouldn't. The local councils are also doing their part. Allowing the adhan is just another one of those things. It's as simple as that.

Ssaad bhai, if you think something else is going on then come out with it.

My friend send me recording from queen's rd azaan, he lives quite a distance yet you can hear it. As I was mentioning before there is something mesmerising about hearing azaan from a distance. How do i share the video on here?,

Ghosia Masjid Adhan was heard about half a mile down the road.

My brother lives 7 minutes walk away from there and it could be heard.

In fact, it could be heard at the Wifaqul Ulama office in E10 if they were there.

How far away was it, out of curiosity?

Feels good, you must admit.

I was sent (probably just like everyone else in the area) videos from Masjid e Umer, Ghosia Masjid, Masjid Abu Baker and Noorul Islam, all as you know from Walthamstow.

Quote:
A request to all brothers and sisters. This message has been sent in a personal capacity and not on behalf of any organisation.

In Waltham Forest several Mosques have been granted permission by the local authority to do the Azaan out aloud for Maghrib prayers. This is historic and a hugely proud moment.

We must take a few moments and recognise this achievement by thanking the council leader for being supportive of this initiative which WFCOM put forward.

I was told Ghosia Masjids Adhan was heard down Lea Bridge road beyond Saffron and Aldi which is about half a mile.

It wasn't as loud the next day but I've been told that it was they didn't bring the speakers out and will do it again the following day.

I'll try and get youtube links for the other Masjids in the area (just street videos)
