I guess one question that comes to mind is that if Khidr عليه السلام has indeed been alive throughout different times, wouldn't he have wanted to come and introduce himself to Allah's beloved Prophet (saw)?

Is he was alive, he would've had knowledge of it and he would've known better on it if they should meet or not, or even if they did meet or not.

  1. Who said he will remain "alive" forever as in eternity?
  2. Where did you get the idea that Dajjal is Jinn?

Who said that he is not only alive but independent and can do whatever he wants? Is Dajjal independent?

From various places.

Some narrative say he is short, others say he is huge, some narrative say the Prophet suspected others of being him but they didn't match the description either, so I feel that the human they saw, may be later possessed by the jin in order to carry out his work.

I think I've heard others mention the Djin who inspires people to do evil like the rocket scientist etc.

Some have speculated that Dajjal is one of the jinns locked up by sulaiman (as)

Will try and get more info as I go along.

It is generally the Aqeedah of Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jamaat that Dajjal is human. The clue is in all the Ahadeeth about Ibn Sayyad who was human and if the Sahaba (RA) thought that Dajjal was a "Jinn" then this would have been an easy issue to reject.

Possession by Jinn, doesn't make him a Jinn.

What I am trying to get at is there is undisputed evidence that Dajjal is Jinn but you are speculating that he is Jinn.

Same can be speculated by Khid'r (AS) and has been and the reports from the Salaf about Khidr (AS) are in huge numbers compared to Dajjal is Jinn theory.

I thought you would say that which is known.

That Dajjal is from the sons of Adam

Going with what you have written for the time being...

Is "Jinn" from son of Adam?

Iblees is a jin and he was around before that :)

Jinn roamed the world before Adam (as)

I'm just saying, I thought you would've used, "the son of Adam" as the first point of argument.

And what is son of Adam? I genuinely don't understand, are you claiming that "son of Adam" can be someone other then human???

Son of Adam being humans. Jinn are not human.

I'm not claiming anything else.

Adam and his prodigy are created from soil (insaan) whereas the Jinn are created from fire and were created before Adam (as)

You should join the Tory party and advise them on spin. :lol

  1. Dajjal is "Son of Adam"
  2. "Son of Adam" can only be human
  3. Thus Dajjal is human

Where is the evidence that Dajjal is "Jinn"? Humans are superior to Jinns so how is it possible for a Jinn to collectively outsmart and overpower "Humans" there is no precedence and evidence for that.

If he is human (which he is) then the same Hadeeth which you are presenting about Khi'idr applies to Dajjal i.e. how is he still living? It was confirmed by none other than Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) that Tamim Dari (RA) actually and physically met a young Dajjal and a physically young Dajjal will emerge (whenever he does). This clearly proves that Dajjal also has regenerative powers OR that he does not age.

Sayyiduna Isa (AS) on the other hand does not have these powers and he will age (normally) and pass away.

Nobody will live "forever" but a long life with special powers doesn't translate it into immortaltiy

Jinns vs Humans

These are two different and distinct creatures of Allah Ta'ala, humans as follows:

Loading Qur'aan Verse

Loading Qur'aan Verse

Jinn as follows:

Loading Qur'aan Verse

Sayyiduna Esa (AS) or Jesus is from the Progeny of Sayyiduna Adam (AS) i.e. Human

Loading Qur'aan Verse

Iblis (Shaytaan) is Jinn:

Loading Qur'aan Verse

Humans are superior to Jinn:

Loading Qur'aan Verse

The Two Messiahs:

The real Christ i.e. Sayyiduna Isa (AS) and Anti-Christ i.e. Dajjal who is embodiment of evil but they are both humans and neither of them are Jinns.

Long Life vs "Forever"

No human can live forever but they can have very long lives i.e. in the Qur'aan there is a hint about the age of Prophet Noah (AS)

Loading Qur'aan Verse

It doesn't mean that he lived forever but that he had a long life. Similarly Dajjal can have a long life (and youth) and potentially so can Khid'r (AS).
