We can start with أستغفر الله (astaghfirullah, literally “I ask Allah forgiveness”) 1000x daily.
It should only take 20 minutes. A person should try and focus as much as possible on the meaning while concentrating over the fact that my sins are the cause of the corruption on earth. In the beginning the focus may be there for about 200-300 but eventually it will grow. Sadly our case may be that we don't actually think that we are the cause of the fitnah on earth. With consistincey one will InshaAllah think oneself to be lowly and it should eventually dawn on a person that "I am the cause for all the corruption on Earth". Without focus the reward will be present but the desired result will not be acheived.
