Trump will beat Biden hands down. Trump was seen as the answer against the establishment and elite. Biden is part of that elite so can't see too many voting him over trump
Also despite trumps flaws and he has 1000s he still better than Obama Bush Clinton n others. Bush and Obama would never have left Afghanistan or made deal with taliban. Infact they would of started more wars.
Trump might not have been a career establishment politician.
But he is most definitely part of the wall-street elite. Just as crooked and corrupt if not more so.
Guy is a hustler and a scam artist, it does bogle the mind that the working class white people think he has any affinity to them. Considering he is the son of a billionaire and has never done a hard days work in his life. And has no idea what it feels to struggle to buy groceries, rent or bills.
As for his foreign policy towards muslims. He has given full support to the extremist policies of Netanyahu and laid the grounds for the complete annexation of Palestine.
He showed either complete ambivalence or tacit support for the genocide of Muslims and the concentration camps. From China, to Kashmir, Burma to Yemen, And for the extremist anti-muslim policies in India and Sri Lanka and else where.
He supports the tyrants in the Middle east from the rulers of Dubai, U.A.E. Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain. He has precipitated and added to the suffering of the Iraqis and Syrians.
He may not have invaded a muslim country but his policies overall are hardly conciliatory or pacifist. Whats-more he has made himself a hero to the extreme rightwing anti-muslim hate groups across the western world.
How did the general populace in U.S.
feel about the likes of Sanders and Warren?
As an outsider it seemed to me both had policies that would have benefitted the vast majority of Americans. The poor the downtrodden, the Middleclass and the small business owners etc.
Warren was just generally unimpressive. She really didn't make much of an impression on most people and had a very poor showing in the primary elections.
Sanders is just too much of a socialist for main stream Americans to take. Some of his policies sound good, but would never get passed by the congress. He never really had a good explanation about how he would pay for some of his plans.
Sanders also wants to take away the money from millionaires and billionaires and redistribute the wealth. Things like that are just not realistic in the US.
In a lot of ways, he's a dreamer. He promotes revolution as opposed to change over time.
It looks I got the wrong impression. From the analysts on twitter.
People like Mehdi Hassan an Al Jazeera presenter. And Wajahat Ali a political analyst who appears on various programmes.
The impression I got was Sanders was considered an Ultra-Socialist but had some very good policies.
And even though Elizabeth Warren launched a very lack lustre campaign, that her policies were very good. Would have benefitted alot of Americans. I suppose like an American Marketer from decades past said, "Sell the sizzle and not the steak." Very few people have time to look at and read policies and action plans.
Also the term "Socialist" seems to be a dirty word in America akin to communism. Living in England which is hardly a Socialist country it does seem very strange the degree of opposition to a Free national Health Service in America.
Well, you're not wrong.
Being a socialist, is much different than socialized medicine.
Socialism, is closely linked to communism. Not in the way it's practiced in the world, but in the actual communism as it was proposed. Nearly a Utopian society.
There is no such thing as free healthcare. The society just pays for it indirectly instead of directly to the providers. The problem is, how do we implement it.
One of the biggest concerns I would have with a so called "medicare for all" plan, is that it required me to give up my very good healthcare coverage I have through my employer. That would be okay, but there's nothing to stop the next congress from doing away with it, leaving me without the healthcare I have now as well.
I think everyone agrees all American should have healthcare. The real question is how do we do it and how does it get paid for.
Edit: I mis-stated Marx's socialism, he was against the utopian form of socialism.
And has no idea what it feels to struggle to buy groceries, rent or bills.
It's been quite a while ago, but Trump actually thought you needed to show photo ID to buy groceries. That's how in tune he is with the average American.
That tidbit came out when he first started pushing for a voter ID card.
When did I say Donald was a friend. I said he is better than others. At least trump will look in eye and say he hates Islam unlike the snakes Obama Bush Clinton..
As for trump running to the aid of Muslims. Seriously if any Muslim think any non Muslim leader will solve our problems then sorry but they are complete idiots. only we can clean our dirty laundry
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
