What do the Ulama suggest?

Which way should the vote go in the best interest of the Muslims?

Ulama (who are non-Trustees) can give individual advise as needed but for us:

assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/syste...

  1. Electoral law also has rules about activity that may be seen as election related campaigning by all organisations, including charities.
  2. Charities must not support or oppose a political party or candidate. Charities must not donate funds to political parties
  3. Charities should be especially wary of associating or becoming associated in the minds of the public, with a particular candidate or political party.

Maybe some of the members here who are not a charity organisation can point in a direction for us :)

Daniel Haqiqatjou raises some interesting questions. All though he is discussing the American elections. Same could be applied here in the U.K.

Typical overreaction

  1. Create a narrative
  2. Refute the narrative
  3. Apply it to traditional Imams

I do not know any sensible Scholar who says this:

Is voting a religious obligation?

Good brother but typical of how he reacts on Abortion and other issues etc

I wonder if the chief Rabi is associated with any charity!

The media is giving a huge platform to spread his thoughts and give people the chance to sympathise with Jewish people, at the cost of a political party.

Where are the Muslims trying to expose the islamaphobic agenda?

Here is Sajid Javid in a mosque in Bury excusing the Islamophobia of Boris Johnson when called Muslim women wearing a veil "letter boxes". Shame on the Muslims that let him use the mosque, shame on any Muslim that votes for people like Javid and Johnson.

The Chancellor Sajid Javid hits out over anti-semitism in @UKLabour - but tells @NinaWarhurst that Boris Johnson has nothing to apologise for over comments comparing Muslim women in burkhas to "letterboxes"

Time to call a moratarium on Muslim political involvement.

muslimskeptic.com/2019/07/03/time-to-call-a-moratorium-on...

Thought provoking article....In recent years both the pro-Israel lobby and the Homosexual lobby have become dominant. Any candidate who stands for election is expected to submit to the will and policies of both these lobbies.

Muslims and BAME in general do not hold the balance at all in GE. Most they have is odd seat here and there. Problem is too many of us are London eccentric. Outside of London most areas barring off areas like Leicester Blackburn and Bradford it's all predominantly white who are mostly pro brexit racists and support boris
