We find comments by Boris Johnson comparing niqab-wearing women to'letter boxes' tragic distasteful, and worrying.

We backed calls by the MCB and others for an inquiry into Islamophobia in the Conservative Party and the latest callous comments by Boris Johnson highlight the need for the Tories to take Islamophobia seriously.

We urge everyone to contact Brandon Lewis MP (Chairman of theConservative Party) by emailing complaints@conservatives.com or by calling 0207 984 8050 and press for an independent enquiry into Islamophobia at the ConservativeParty.

unfortunatley no amount of complaints ( i still encourage everyone to make a complaint) will make much diff. boris the bafoon is not an idiot and deliberately chose his words to galvanise the support off the far right. he is eying up a leadership contest and his comments will have the ear of all ukip edl scumbags.

unless notable muslims and organisations speak out not much will change. just look at labour and their non anti semitism witchhunt. despite all media and pundits smearing corbyn it hasnt really hurt his ratings. those who supported him continue to do so and those who hated him continue to do so. i dont knw the figures but very few muslims and minorities vote tories so they have no need to try win them over. theres plenty of gammon though who boris could win over by playing the anti islam card.

We believe that the investigation into comments by Boris Johnson does not go far enough! Certain members of the Conservation party are regularly making inflammatory Islamophobic comments, lives are being put at risk and there is a potential for Hate Crimes.

Boris Johnson is to a face a disciplinary investigation by the Conservative party following a string of complaints about his comments on the burqa, triggering a fresh bout of infighting between his supporters and critics.

The former foreign secretary could ultimately be suspended or expelled, while one peer who made a formal complaint said he had been told that if Johnson were to apologise now it would not halt the process.

nothing will happen. he is too powerful and May is too weak. she knows he is eying up a leadership contest but cant stop him. if she keeps him he will still take over and normalise islamaphobia and if he was to be kicked up all the racists and half tory party will rally behind him. plus all these polls they do showing vast majority saying its not racist and wanting burqa banned will only serve his purpose.

we need to face the facts here. we have lived out our time as muslims in this country. since i was a kid people always had that thought in the back of our minds that one day we are going to have to leave this place. especially pakistanis. when asked why do you build homes in pakistan and why do you ship your deceased to pakistan, the reply was who will visit their graves when we will no longer be able to live here? where will we go when the goray kick us out?

it is absolutely open season when it comes to muslims. you cannot say anything against jews, women, black people, homos and all the other variations of these accursed people, yet it has become the norm to be openly islamaphobic and get away with it. lets face the facts. these people absolutely hate islam with a vengeance. they want to see islam destroyed and eradicated from their lands. they want our children to become just like them and be accepting of all manner of kufr.

these are early warning signs for us as to which way not just the UK is turning, but which way the whole world is turning. we need to heed these signs. allah hu alam what we can do. but we need to at least start making mashwera about it.

this is not a case of losing hope in Allah or anything. As muslims we always put our faith and hope in Allah's mercy as we have no choice plus its kufr to lose that hope. this is more of a case of us taking are precautions and being prepared for the worse should it happen which in my opinion is a matter of when and not if. the biggest issue i see atm is the number of murtad and munafiq who openly support islamaphobes. last few days amount of them that have come out the woodworks agreeing with bojo and saying burqa is backward or needs to be banned is concerning. what can we say to the kuffar when they turn around and say so and so 'muslim' agrees with us.
