Thanks for that book. I didn’t complete reading it but it was very interesting to read and kind of shocked to read the plots of shaitan with so much of power and how we are being trapped. Let Allah SWT save us all. Ameen

So it was more symbolic than real...

The Russians and Bashar,s forces were given enough time to save their assets,the Russians were informed before the attack,the Syrian dictator has his power base untouched and intact. Strategically and tactically every one is safe and happy. The Muslim lands remain in turmoil and unstable.

The strikes look more like a response to nerve gas attack on the soil of UK rather than that in Syria.

It makes sense... they will never start a major war with ‘each other’ until their own home lands are in danger.

A relieved Bashar can now focus on his intended blood bath of Idlib.

14APRIL2018: Time for Israel to take over from America in the Middle East

  1. After announcing strikes for a week...
  2. About 120 missiles were fired at 3-4 targets
  3. Russia was notified before hand and their reaction so far tells us that not much was done with these airstrikes
  4. Syrians shot down some of the missiles

Since nothing major so far seems to have be done to Asaad and his military capability, Israel will now take over in Syria as Trump has already stated that he wants America and Israel does not want Iran on its borders

Trump Orders Military Strikes, 3 Waves Of Airstrikes Launched At Syrian Targets

Update 6: Russia responds. Here is the full statement posted by Russia’s ambassador to the US, Anataoly Antonov:

The worst apprehensions have come true. Our warnings have been left unheard.

A pre-designed scenario is being implemented. Again, we are being threatened. We warned that such actions will not be left without consequences.

All responsibility for them rests with Washington, London and Paris.

Insulting the President of Russia is unacceptable and inadmissible.

The U.S. – the possessor of the biggest arsenal of chemical weapons – has no moral right to blame other countries.

* * *

Update 5: Video showing the moment a tomahawk missile hits a research facility in Syria

* * *

Update 4: Joint Chiefs chairman Dunford said that while the strikes sought to minimize risk of Russian casualties, the US did not pre-notify Russia of the Syria strikes; separately Mattis said that double the number of weapons used compared to last year’s Syria strike – when 59 Tomahawk missiles were launched.

More from Dunford:

“We did have some surface-to-air missile activity from the Syrian regime.”
“The US did not pre-notify Russian forces in Syria about tonight’s kinetic activity.”
“Russia was alerted of Syria strikes through “deconfliction” line in Qatar”
“U.S. forces in Syria did make adjustments to force protection levels ahead of the combined air operations against the Syrian regime.”
“This wave of airstrikes is over. More information will follow in the morning.”
“Manned aircraft involved in Syria operation”
“Pentagon will brief tomorrow will more strike details”
And Mattis:

“We used a little over double the number of weapons this year than we used last year…We were very precise and proportionate, but at the same time, it was a heavy strike.”
“I am confident the Syrian regime conducted a chemical attack on innocent people.”
“Right now we have no more attacks planned”
* * *

Update 3: at 10PM ET, Defense Secretary Mattis and Joseph Dunford, the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff provided the Pentagon’s update, repeating that U.S., British and and French forces struck Syrias chemical weapons infrastructure tonight. Mattis said that “Clearly, the Assad regime did not get the message last year. This time, our allies and we have struck harder.”

Mattis adds that “I want to emphasize these strikes are directed at the Syrian regime. In conducting these strikes, we have gone to great lengths to avoid civilian and foreign casualties.”

Then, Dunford said that the first target was a Syrian research facility, and adds that the US selected targets that would minimize risk to innocent civilians. He adds that attacks on multiple sites of Syria chemical weapons infrastructure “inflicted maximum damage.”

In total, Targets were specially associated with the Syrian regime’s CW program. These included:

Scientific research center in the greater #Damascus area.
Chemical weapons storage facility west of #Homs.
Chemical weapons equipment storage facility and command post west of #Homs.
The third target, which was in the vicinity of the second target, contained both the chemical weapons equipment storage facility and an important command post.”

Meanwhile, the White House said that the US is confident the Syrian regime was behind the chemical weapons attack, based on:

media sources
victims’ symptoms
videos
“reliable information indicating coordination between Syrian military officials before the attack.”
* * *

Update 2: Witnesses are reporting explosions heard in Damascus, including residential areas, although the first wave of US, UK and French attacks is allegedly targeting the following:

Republican Guard headquarters
Military airbases
Chemical weapon production sites
Meanwhile, Reuters adds that a total of three scientific research centers struck in the attack.

According to media reports in addition to American ships, Tomahawk missiles and aircraft – including B-1 bombers, leading the attacks, four British Tornado GR4s have targeted a military facility in Homs with Storm Shadow missiles.

While unconfirmed, Syria state TV claims that it shot down 13 missiles near Damascus.

Pentagon: There will be a press briefing at 10 p.m. EDT, tonight, April 13, in the Pentagon Briefing Room on operations in Syria.

* * *

Update 1: President Trump has now confirmed that in a combined operation with France and UK, a military strike is now under way against Syria…

“A short time ago, I ordered the United States Armed Forces to launch precision strikes on targets associated with the chemical weapons capabilities of Syrian dictator, Bashar al-Assad.”

“This massacre was a significant escalation in a pattern of chemical weapons use by that very terrible regime.”

“These are not the actions of a man; they are crimes of a monster instead.”

“The combined American, British, and French response to these atrocities will integrate all instruments of our national power, military, economic, and diplomatic.”

“We are prepared to sustain this response until the Syrian regime stops its use of prohibited chemical agents.”

“In 2013, President Putin and his government promised the world that they would guarantee the elimination of Syria’s chemical weapons.”

“Assad’s recent attack and today’s response are the direct result of Russia’s failure to keep that promise. Russia must decide if it will continue down this dark path or if it will join with civilized nations as a force for stability and peace.”

“The United States will be a partner and a friend, but the fate of the region lies in the hands of its own people.”

“Tonight, I ask all Americans to say a prayer for our noble warriors and our allies as they carry out their missions. We pray that God will bring comfort to those suffering in Syria.”

Theresa May has commented:

*MAY: AUTHORISED FORCES TO CONDUCT TARGETED STRIKES IN SYRIA
*MAY: WE ARE ACTING TOGETHER WITH OUR AMERICAN & FRENCH ALLIES
*U.K.’S MAY SAYS STRIKE IS LIMITED, TARGETED
*MAY: SYRIA’S PERSISTENT PATTERN OF BEHAVIOUR MUST BE STOPPED
*MAY: ATTACKS `NOT ABOUT REGIME CHANGE’ IN SYRIA
*MAY: CAN’T ALLOW CHEMICAL WEAPONS TO BECOME NORMALISED
Mr. Trump has threatened military action against Syria for days as retaliation for a suspected chemical weapons attack by the forces of President Bashar al-Assad on a Damascus suburb last week.

* * *

With two Tomahawk-capable destroyers in The Mediterranean Sea, and following “highly confident” intel that Syria launched the chemical attack, NYTimes reports that President Trump is expected to make a statement about Syria on Friday evening at the White House, an administration official said.

Additionally, Gateway Pundit’s Josh Caplan reports that Vice President Mike Pence was seen “‘rushing back” to his hotel in Peru amid speculation about possible U.S. military action in Syria.

FOX News reports that President Trump has approved military strikes on Syria and is set to announce them within 30 minutes.

I guess the purpose of these air strikes are to tell the Syrian government, that you can rape, barrel bomb, use missles, and do all these other atrocities against sunnis of Syria, that is fine, just do not use chemical weapons.

The Tyranny of Rulers is the The Result of Our Own Evildoing, And A Punishment From Allah
By Shaykh Manzoor Numani in Ma’riful Hadith

It is narrated by Abu Darda (radhiyallahu anhu) that Rasulullah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “Allah says:

“I, alone, am Allah, and there is no Deity save Me. I am the King of Kings, the Lord of the Lords. The hearts of the sovereigns (kings and rulers) of the world are in my Hands, (and). (My practice is) that when My bondsmen obey Me, I incline the hearts of their rulers with love and compassion towards them and when they take to the path of transgression and disobedience, I turn the hearts of their rulers with anger and punishment against them, and then, they oppress them severely. Thus, do not engage yourselves in cursing the ruler, but turn to Me in remembrance and earnest repentance so that I may suffice for you in deliverance from the tyranny and despotism of the rulers.” (Abu Na’eem)

COMMENTARY

For everything that takes place in the world, good or evil, there are some apparent and some hidden reasons. In this Tradition, the holy Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) had declared, in the words of the Lord Himself that the type of rulers people get and the way they govern is, in fact, the outcome of their own deeds and actions. The standing command and proclamation of the Supreme Being, the Author of all things, is that:

“I am King of Kings, the Lord of the Lords. The hearts of the rulers are in My control, and My practice is that when people, on the whole lead a life of submission and obedience, I produce affection and benevolence for them in the hearts of their rulers, while if they, in general, take to the path of intransigence and wrong doing, I give rise to feelings of anger and cruelty in their rulers hearts.

In fact, it is My Wrath and Displeasure, and the rulers are, only, the instruments. So, when the rulers are unjust and cruel, do not curse them as it will avail nothing, but remember Me, feel genuinely sorry for your misdeeds, seek My forgiveness, and reform your ways. It is the only way to obtain relief from oppression and injustice of the rulers.”

Why do so many people in politics and the media want to start wars? Since I toured a sordid hospital full of wounded people in Bucharest at Christmas 1989, and even more after I saw for the first time (in Vilnius in 1991) what a human head looks like after a bullet has passed through it, I have seen it as an absolute duty to warn against armed conflict. It is a filthy thing.

No doubt there are times when we must fight. But there are plenty more when we should not.
Any fool can kill a man in a second and ruin a city in a week. But it takes long years of nurture to raise a child to adulthood, and centuries to build a civilisation.

Yet I look around me and see the mouths of intelligent people opened wide, yelling for an attack on Syria, when the only certain outcome of that will be blood and screams and ruins, and the deaths of innocents in 'collateral damage'. What good will this do?
What is wrong with them? They are not cruel and stupid, yet they call for actions which are both.

Haven't we got enough misery in Syria already? The place is a mass of ruins, graveyards and refugee camps. To what end?......

[QUOTE:117283:

The affairs of the world are in the hands of ‘multinationals’ and not in the hands of any Donald trump or Putin.Businessmen make money out of wars.Democracy is a facade for capitalists to give it a a more civilised appearance. With wars,the arms are manufactured and sold,the ammunition is depleted and more is made,the cities are destroyed to be built again,the people are wounded and need medicine,the roads and infrastructure is destroyed to be reconstructed,the schools and hospitals are ruined and made again.It is big money involved. As long as there is materialism there will be wars...

THE TIME OF FITNAH
Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) said: “Soon there will
dawn such an age when kingdom (political power) will
not be sustainable without killing and oppression. Without
miserliness a person will not become wealthy. Without
following base lusts, mingling with people will become
impossible. Whoever happens to be in such an age should
adopt Sabr and guard his nafs. If he adopts Sabr, Allah
will grant him the reward of fifty Siddiqeen (Auliya of the
highest status). During the last of ages a Mu’min will have
no peace without being unknown among the people.”
That is, safety and peace may be acquired only in
solitude and the sanctuary of one’s home.
