2. Morocco

South Africa gives flexibility and gives you quicker reaction times, ability to unite the country and if you take the opinion of “Global Sighting” then both Morocco and South Africa come under that category.

That is the point being made in the Video.

No way Morocco is local to Britain. If Morocco is east of UK, so is South Africa for that matter and Saudi Arabia

Not insisting on South Africa but saying that there is no Shariah based principles which forces Wifaq to exclude South Africa.

In other words, looking at the situation of 3 million Muslims South Africa does give the advantage of getting ahead (while news from Morocco arrives) which will be the case in the next few years. The horizons are the same and possibilities will be the same (or similar).

Credible Sighting from anywhere EAST of UK as long as Moon is on British Horizon is fine (technically) and won't cause any problems.

You got to learn to drown out tittle-tattle from practical implications. There are loads of people who are saying their piece on Moon Sighting and what is right and what is wrong.

The main point and object which remains is that Moon Sighting facilitates acts of worship so a solution needs to be provided.

Sometimes (wrong methods) lead to the right results so practically it doesn’t matter because majority of Muslims don’t understand the subject technically. For example, Birmingham Central Mosque for the past few years have been correct (but based on wrong methods). So in terms of practicality, should we rock the boat (unnecessarily) or let them get on with it because it isn’t causing any major issues (at the moment)?

Then you have some stickler to detail people (you know who) who insist on their way and it is unlikely that 3 million British Muslims will make this person the Khaleefa of Britain and follow his Moon Sighting recommendations.
