I managed to read both letters last night

Wa Alykumussalam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barkatuh.

Mabruk.
I read these letters three days ago and my neurons are still aching.

Of course I am sarcastic but not towards you my dear.

You remember those traumatic days when the whole Iblis coterie of Islamic Awakening was hurling choicest abuses at us. This so called Mujahid has borrowed so many of their arguments. I wish his letters, particularly the second one, were brief.

This Cii Broadcasting is a problematic site. Under news of IS letters comments were flooded by IS fanboys. I tried to argue with an extreme IS supporter sister. Her statements reflected that this site was reliable to her (generally every IS fan reject any site that opposes their ideology).

Later I posted two interviews of Shaykh Abu Qatadah and Shaykh Maqdisi which refuted IS ideology. With great surprise I found that my post wasn't approved!

I am beginning to see a problem with Cii on this issue. Why did they simply plant evidence out there without any scrutiny?

Apparently this letter is written by a certain Mufti Rashid Moosagie!

How bizarre is South Africa? Someone who is a Mufti can write in such an ignorant manner???

Here I argued with an IS fan who uses the name Fadheelah. I found these quotes interesting:

Fadheelah wrote:
Please invite those that fled from the Islamic State to meet with Muslim journalists like Azhar Vadi so that we can hear it from the horse's mouth. It will serve as evidence to your claim.
Azhar Vadi is the journalist who reported on the first IS letter on Cii Broadcasting.
Indeed! May Allah save us from misguidance, Aameen. Thumma Aameen. Brother i would like to further engage you in this matter, however i prefer not to do it on this public forum. If you wish, please leave your e-mail address with the engineer at channel Islam. Jazakallah

Firstly I couldn't grasp what is this Channel Islam but later found them on Twitter: twitter.com/channelislam

I told you this on Twitter last night too.

Brother I saw the tweet myself where cii have asked you as to where you posted, in regards to this post. First check your tweets etc, if I find the post I'll take a screenshot and send it to you.

I don't think there was any malice as to why your post didn't show up and it could be many reasons, however do see what they say before you make allegations on here, I think this way it'll be better.

The brother of a Port Elizabeth man who has joined the terrorist organisation Islamic State has spoken out against his sibling’s decision and says it has put him and his family in grave danger.

Allie Moosagie, of Cape Town, confirmed that his brother, Rashid Moosagie, left South Africa to join IS — also known as Isis, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria — in January, taking his wife and children with him.

He believes Rashid’s children, all under 30, are being “brainwashed ” by IS...
My father says everyone is a 'mufti jaib ' these days :D

Plus in Ramadan we see an influx of people that we've never seen or heard off before become the new Sayyutis and Asqakalanis of the era, only to disappear once the blessed month is over.

I agree with you though and do not think that this guy is a mufti at all, just someone claiming to be.
