Assalamu Alaykum,

Been a bit of a wait since any new features but for a forum, this is a must.

Polls have been added to the site. The "Add Poll" button will only appear (next to "New Topic" and "Appreciate" buttons) if:

1) The forum permissions allow you to
2) You are the topic starter

You can only vote if:
1) The forum permissions allow you to
2) If you haven't already voted

Yes there may be bugs as it's untested fully so if there are, please report it here.

Jazakallah. Well, it wasn't really a bug, it was just a lazier approach from me for allowing guests to vote which you just made public (it's ok). The only problem with fixing it is that if there's many users who use the same internet connection, only one vote will be available for that connection.

Can you make it that guests can edit their posts. This will be good if they want to delete a post if it is incorrect or edit some information to improve it

To edit a post, you must be logged in and post with your ID.

Guests cannot edit their post simply because they're a "guest" and anyone will be able to edit it which is a risk. No web site in the world will allow editing anything without an account and login.

Some more ideas

1. Let guests do the Fiquiz quiz (they is no harm and some people might be too lazy or do not want to register Plus if someones quickly visits the website and doesn't want to keep on registering so many different sites ). i dont think guest can do harm by doing the quizes

2. trial guests posting new threads (its up to you and if it gets out of hand you can stop it). its similar to posting on threads but could be more harmful

Again, not safe and not the best option. To delete and edit, we have moderators and admins. If a person really wants to have control, "register"

Obviosly things have to be considered.

Not an option. Been done in the past, bad choice.

[quote]about the editing you can make it so that a guest can anly edit their own post

Once again, not an option and not possible. One IP can be shared by hundreds of computers and also, IP addresses can very easily be faked. No point adding anything with loopholes and security issues. Please also stick to the current topic (polls and surverys on forums)
